Hi all
FE I never realised there were limitations with Ebay - good luck, sounds like a neverending process especially with the amount of things you have acquired over time.
Today I bought a pair of sandals. They weren't even very comfortable but I needed a pair that looked decent so I could change into after first walking in my comfortable ones.
Todays update on Mr Persistence - I didn't see him in the usual haunt and thought - relief - but he turned up elsewhere. I just said hello then kept well away, and didn't even look at the other one who was nearby.
Isn't it typical attracting the ones I don't want
Ziggles how are you doing?
Everyone - what is your September challenge?0 -
Thanks Anglea...
I am kicking myself as I binned loads of clothes before moving house and I could have sold them....stupid thing to have done!!0 -
Hi girls
Hope you are all ok
Today I'm shattered, all the activities lately have caught up on me. Kept away from the places those men hang out .
Tried on skirt, jeans and a top. Kept the top although it was a bit loose the rest didn't look right.0 -
Hi Anglea
I'm ok, but seem to be feeling tired all the time at the moment. Eating too much as usual which doesn't help!
Had a fab day out on Wednesday in London with my daughter, resisted buying too much. I think I am a food shopaholic more than anything
Like others on here, I have bought the book 'mini shopaholic' - though I paid the full price for it!
I have still not done my accounts, a little afraid of dealing with my pile of receipts and so many purchases with no receipts. Still, at least nothing on my credit card. One day I will have to live within my income and not keep using my savings. But again, what are savings for if not to spurge occasionally.
Today I am bored, bored, bored. Did I tell you I am bored! I have poured myself a glass of Jacob's Creek pinot noir. Maybe it will make me sleepy and I can escape reality for a while.
Update on the guys
Bym texted me yesterday, asked me how my day was, ended his message saying 'Weather is changing.....Autumn is smiling to us'
No contact from The Muse for 10 days

hi Guys!
I'm doing a weekend of self imposed bed rest- this unwell-ness is really taking it out of me- too scared to take time off work- don't want to become 'that person'.
@Anglea- soo funny that you have these admirers and you don't like any of them! Isn't it always the way though. "rolls eyes"
@Frog- and then there's you with these 3 guys:D. I'm bored too though. I could do with some serious fun- maybe a random date with one of the guys on pof will do the trick!
September challenge
1. Get out more
2. Pray more
3. Walk to walk at least 10 times.
4. Meal plan
And that is all folks!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
@Frog- and then there's you with these 3 guys:D. !
Don't forget though, I've known The Muse 18 months and only met him twice. Known Bym 6 months and only met him once.
And Beau is so far away!
Sorry you are not feeling so well, hugs xNot Rachmaninov

Hi all,
I'm reading but haven't posted as feel as if I have a lot to do (even though I don't... not really?!)
I'm finding this decluttering lark so hard at the moment. I seem to buy loads of tops that are "just ok" - nothing that I absolutely adore. And so I wear them once or twice and then feel completely disappointed. How do I stop myself from spending £3 here and £5 there..???
Anyway!!! I've added a few items to ebay but nothing of much significance. Nothing that will make up for the dire August that I have had.
Will post something more positive tomorrow - my goals for September (heck, I need some as my focus is slipping).
PS - I forgot to say congrats on your new job, FE.0 -
Hi everyone
CL I'm having real problems with tops too. I've only worn one out of all those I bought in the last 6 months, and that was only once.
I got one last week that looked really good, a vest top with nice buttons however when I put it on, it looked completely wrong as the straps aren't straight but curving so it showed too much of my bra at the side, I'll have to wear another vest underneath looks like.
I also find that a lot with lycra in them come up too small. Yesterday I bought a M&S and thought I'd better get a size larger than normal because of this problem, typical that it turned out to be loose on me, but I'm keeping it.
So it doesn't look as though I can give you any advice to stop buying them does it? LOL
Perhaps if you find one you really like and looks good on you.
Ziggles I hope you feel better.0 -
