I definitely won't! I've never had Doritos since the summer when I won about 20 packets and ate them all..! They've totally lost their appeal as I sickened myself with them :S

I did get some nice Danish pastries and some bread reduced. Only spent pennies

I decided to do some excercise during the ad breaks in Big Brother. By the time it finishes I should get be able to wear all my misfits.

Cl you got some bargains, how many pastries can I ask?

My finances are in a sorry state. I have compared my bank accounts with my spending logs (now updated) and I am way out. Don't know how I can reconcile the difference. Oh well, not much I can do now except be really careful from now on.

I have ordered some furniture, put a deposit down on that - balance to be paid next month. Will come out of my savings

I have booked my holiday for September and I will be going out to Turkey on Saturday - final big expenditure of the year. Again, out of my savings which have been depleted by £3000 so far this year!

Have had some nice conversations with Bym and The Muse this weekend. I asked if I could visit The Muse this week - but he is working on the days I am free. He said he has little work most of the time so I said he should contact me on those days! Bym says he wants to come and see me after my holiday.

I'm listening to an Alan Bennett play on CD - I have played it 4 times recently, twice today. I don't know why I like to hear things repeatedly. I have also been watching 'The unbearable lightness of being' which is on iplayer - 3 times this weekend! I now need to buy the DVD!

It has been quiet on here! I hope you're all doing ok.

I got 6x Pain au chocolate and two packs of savoury muffins for £1.20-ish. Though the pastries didn't last long... family delved in before I even had a chance to get any!

Frogletina: my finances are in a similar state to yours. My savings have taken a hit this summer, and I need to recoup some of it. Firstly, I NEED a job! And after this weekend, I'll have all the time in the world to concentrate on jobhunting, ebaying, comping.

Why did you feel you needed to tell him? Lots of people date numerous people at once... I'd be worried if both guys lived in the same town, but not countries apart. I guess my way of thinking is slightly... immoral though LOL

Well I'm off into town this afternoon (weather permitting) to return a couple of things to Dorothy Perkins, and pick up some essentials. Hopefully I will resist the other stuff - tbh, our town has very few shops anyway, so the chance of being tempted to buy stuff is practically non-existent.

Fr/CL, I think that as long as all parties agree to an open relationship, then there's no issues. Personally, if I am dating someone, I like to know from the outset what the deal is, ie if it's casual only or if it's likely to be more. I've sought out both NSA and commitment and it could be grounds for ending a relationship if I wasn't told outright what to expect, as it were.

STILL eBaying, currently under house arrest til the stupid courier comes with my new breadmaker.

Hi all,

Well, I did the Great North Run yesterday... wow, was I glad when it was over! I've never pushed myself so hard (although I have done the distance before, it never felt as hard) and my time was pretty embarrassing, but I got to the finish line without dying, which was an achievement in itself.

So now I have nothing else to distract me, I need to get on with selling some of my larger items. I relisted a few things last night, but nothing new as I was soooooo freaking tired.
