Ooh, you mean Cadbury's Fudge? Yum.
I'm currently hooked on those Kinder bars...not Bueno, just the bars....I can easily polish off an entire pack of 6 in one sitting.0 -
Hi honeys', I'm home
I am back from my hols.
I certainly did find Beau who messaged me when I woke up on my first morning.
For someone who rarely drinks, I have spent a fortune on Pina Coladas at about £4 - £6 each.
But the most expensive thing I spent money on was Beau, who as Anglea said had lost his job. He went missing for 3 days while I was there, but reappeared again. He speaks so little English and I so little Turkish that communication was very difficult between us. He always seemed happier when there were others around us (I'm rather quiet)
If I'd spent any longer with him and I'd be bankrupt, have a smokers cough and be an alcoholic!
He thought it wasn't such a good idea to stay in a hotel (surprising that, as he could often be found outside ordering beer or food on my tab). He showed me this typical small Turkish house only from the outside, in need of TLC, ten minutes out of town - he said he could paint it and grow salad and tomatoes and keep chickens. I could keep my apartment in England and this one would be ours in Turkey.
He knows I have 3 children, and he thinks I could have at least one more! Well that's something that definately won't be happening! Not Rachmaninov

Welcome back Frog- your relationship with Beau is funny- i cannot imagine you two together (not)communicating well at all! So he wants a baby with you heh heh!:p What did you say to that? lol!
It's been a lovely day today but spent it asleep and not at a bbq as i was feeling quite anti-social.
I am hoping to make a few changes starting Monday as the last few months have been a bit weird for me.
I need to gt my finger out re-spending and saving. Since i've moved out i seem to have taken my eye off the ball on reducing debts...
i shall put up a list tomorrow.
Have a nice weekend guys

p.s. i have eaten all 4 packets of fudge (not cadbury's- the real kind thank you very much FE:D!) I promise not to get any more for August but the craving was just too much:o
p.p.s. Does anyone have their nails done- i am thinking of Calgel or biosculpture gel nails- overlays or tips as my nails ar so shortBlessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -

I think I just smiled at him. Did not want to shatter his illusions
Since then he has messaged me on facebook saying 'me marry' - I replied 'so sweet'
I have just written the final day's page of my holiday journal - each day has a saying of the day, my final day's saying has to be 'me marry'
I wrote 8 poems while I was on holiday, I write about people and my impressions of and interactions with them - my feelings, my loneliness, my day to day life experiences. I even wrote an amusing one which rhymes which is not my usual style at all.
And I wonder what today's messages will bring - but how can a marriage proposal be topped!

Hello all
Had another clearout and added loads of toiletries to eBay....I just keep finding more and more stuff I don't want or need. At least I no longer just buy random crap. Currently got nearly 40 items for sale, with more than the same amount again to list (and that's just off the top of my head). Boring, I know, but it's clearing space and making money. I feel good not having shedloads of clothes taking up space and making it hard for me to see what I actually have if that makes sense...still got more than I need, so more ARE on their way out of my wardrobe and onto eBay once I've cleared a bit more of the "to-be-listed" backlog.0 -
Your motivation amazes me FE.
I have just listed one thing for Dad on ebay and it took better part of 30 minutes:eek: enough to make me want to scream!
Well here's my list for August girls
1. Walk to work at least 10 times
2. Go to zumba at least 4 times
3. Go to church every Sunday
4. Stop buying stuff midweek at tatco unless absolutely necessary (this has totally gotten out of hand lately sometimes £5 a pop 3 times a week:o)
5. Take my emotional eating drops regularly- 4 times a day (if anything it'll help psychologically to take some action).
6. Stop being so negative at/about work! (situation is challenging to say the least!)
have a great week all!:)Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Thanks Zigs...it's easy to focus when you have a few things in mind you want to save up for....as well as the fact that I am already seeing space appear where once things were overflowing and either constantly falling off shelves or blocking doorways, etc. And it's been a pain in the posterior every time I've moved house and found myself struggling with loads and loads of boxes of !!!!! which then take over every inch of space and end up making me fall over them in the night etc and attracting dust, creepy crawlies or even MICE as happened in one student apartment I had last year.0

Evening,
Just a quick post from me... feeling pretty tired tbh, and I have no idea why as I've done v little today! With it being the first of the month I should be feeling fresh, new & raring to go (ha!) but unfortunately not. Driving lesson again tomorrow, which should be fun providing that I manage to sleep tonight.
ziggles: good luck with those targets. How come it took you so long to list one item? Is your connection slow? I'm like a robot when it comes to ebay listings... I do them as quickly as possible to get it over with!!!
Also welcome back Frogletina. I'm not sure what to say about Beau. It does sound like a very odd situation/relationship and I do sometimes wonder if some of your posts about him are in jest or not :S
NG, Anglea - how are you doing?

Well, this morning I went to the GP, and also mailed out 9 parcels to eBay customers...Also sold 2 books via Greenmetropolis so that's all good. Since I got home, as it's cold and wet, I just got into my PJs and am lounging around doing nothing useful at all...should eBay some more crap later but for now, I'm just going to curl up.0

Hi girls
I've been reading all the posts but didn't have time to reply, it's been a whirlwind at home.
Ziggles, all that fudge tut tut, at least it was the quality brand not Cadburys LOL. Good luck with your challenges this month.
Have to admit since I set myself weight loss to fit in all my clothes as my challenge I've eaten more than normal and stopped excercising
CL hope the driving lessons went well.
FE, how long before you get your house clear? Can't believe how much you've already listed, it's like those Russian dolls, just when you think you've seen it all, out comes another one LOL
Welcome back FR, what's the latest with muse and beau?
NG how is your budget coming along?0
