Hi everyone,
CL I wonder if you spend a lot of time on US sites? I noticed you used the term 'pants' instead of trousers. What is it you returned to the rail?
NGlady - no wonder you feel good if you are wearing a lower size, what colour and style are the trousers?
Ziggles I hope you are feeling better. No more FWB for you my girl. At least you won't be prompting him about breakfast anymore!
As for me and the clothing challenge - I've lost count the amount of cakes I ate today. I had some at mum's house. Then at home I made the tea it was salad and I was feeling good then I discovered that DS didn't pass on to me a very important phone message and for some reason I went straight to the cake tin, picked out about 4 then smothered them with butter!!
FE I'm wondering how you managed to have all that clothing stash in your house - because I remember all the decluttering you did years before.0 -
Anglea, I still have a lot more than I need. Honestly. I used to have over 100 pairs of socks !!!!!!. It got completely out of control.0

hi all
FE although 100 pairs of socks does seem mind boggling but I think that household fairies are at work because a couple of months ago I threw out 2 large sacks of odd socks, I tried matching them up and only a few were paired.
And as for acquiring that amount in the first place - some of them must have been the boys, however, they both live away from home most of the time so even that doesn't make sense. Total mystery!!
And after getting rid of them all, I've starting finding more - and the strangest part of it all is that I now use a zippered laundry bag for underwear and socks so you can't lose one, and yet odd ones still appear.

Was supposed to be cutting down on food shopping....but still ended up spending £65!! It would seem that fresh raspberries and strawberries, green and blacks white chocolate with vanilla and multipacks of diet coke constitute essential items....Oops!!0
-
Hi all, just a quickie as im on my mobile :-)
Fe - you work hard so u need to have a treat sometimes, so perhaps the choc did class as a essential item.
I dont know how iv done this, but i have really messed my bank account up. Thanks to people oweing me, and me oweing me etc as a result i havnt a clue whats what with my bank. So really need to try and forget about it for a few days to let all my shop transactions go out, refunds in and from payday onwards go back to my well behaved financially organised self. Think i may need to declare a bit of a ammesty with myself. I know of a couple of key things i need to put back in my account so ill do that then start scratch. Urgh. Serves me right for not keeping a better record. Also my spend diary hasnt happend at all this month.0 -
Had too much to do today...really need to get more organised with the whole eBaying thing...there are piles of stuff everywhere I turn in my house and I want them gone and of course want the money in...
Edit: Or maybe it has something to do with the fact there are SO many 4$$holes on eBay. No wonder I can't stand going on there. One guy asking me the exact same question twice in two days when he had a definitive answer the first time around and being honest, he probably didn't even realise he was asking twice about the same thing.
A woman who made a massive fuss for no reason so I put in £20 of free makeup with her under-£5 Primark purchase to keep my 100% feedback who never bothered to thank me or leave feedback....
A guy sending me a message "Postage to (country) please?" without any cursory politeness and then arguing with me when I quoted him a price. Consider yourself blocked, tool. I still sent a polite and patient reply explaining that postage cost doesn't just include stamps. Some people need to spend less time behind screens buying thousands (literally looking at some peoples feedback) of items, and get a life and some human company to know how to interact with people without being a total kn0b-end.

Hi girls sounds like we're all having problems at the moment.
My turn now. DS that's home and I sometimes talk about with his auditions, has something that mimics bipolar but isn't that. Refuses to get help (he's had it since small). So after a lot of highs including a very odd presents for me (heaviest and largest slab of meat I've ever seen) he's now on a downer. I've just called up his dad to come round and have a word with him.
Coincidentally I had an emergency appt with the doctors about my eyes that I mentioned on here a while back, with Ziggles I think. The doctor asked about the family and I asked about DS, what could I do if he refused to get help.
About the eye, turns out to be something completely unexpected, not hayfever or dry eye, but sinus. It had got far worse lately and it felt like an allergic reaction all over my face.
And I also mentioned these strange white spots I kept getting, in the past I was told they were milia which you had to have cut out but as they were on my face and near my eyes I couldn't have done. This doctor seemed to think they were related to cholesterol and I have to get a blood test done - one way to have to watch what I eat if it is that.
NGlady I'm not surprised you're muddled up with returns and IOU's.
I have to admit I have confused myself with cashback from the supermarket. Nowadays I just have the full amount as the final total as it got too complicated. I still make mistakes with the Superdrug receipts if it's partly medical and partly household, often writing the same amount twice.
FE you're very good to continue with Ebay with all that hassle.
CL in the doctors today a girl came in and she looked just like you. How are you?0 -
Evening ladies
Well I have had a fantastic day/evening
It has been bothering me all night though the disorganisation I have thrown myself into - so I have decided to draw a line in the sand so to speak. I have got my diary and wrote down the key things I owe to myself everything others owe me and wrote it in two catagories 'incoming' 'outgoing' and scribbled all my old draftings out. I probably have put my savings back a little bit, but to be honest, im not inteligent enough to try and think back about all the little things I have spent on my other bank account and therefore owe myself so going to have to call amnesty
I am hopefully when i've dealt with this, back on trackready for a fresh new month where I can really improve my behaviour
hehe.
This has tought me though these stupid refunds are actually quite expensive to do. And if I buy something and it comes out on an offer which actually involves me spending more money to forget them!!
CL - inbox me ur facebook ill get you off either FE or Angleas and add u if thats ok?0 -
Hi all
NGlady - you're up at the witching hour -your fantastic day was re-organising yourself (well done) or did you also do something exciting?
Ridiculously late last night I started my finance updates and filing.
I looked at some clothes today all wrong sizes so 'had' to buy a book couldn't return empty handed could I?0 -
Hi all,
Anglea - well I went shopping then out in the evening. Got home at rediculous o'clock, but decided that would be the ideal time to get my money diary and do my amnesty lol.
Well thats all in operation - also considering doing something quite risky. I am thinking of getting a credit card with a very low limit, like £500 - so when I am doing my buying and returning on my internet/shop sales/etc It will all come in/out of that and then I will have a standing order to the savings account for the full amount monthly. Very early days considering this though.
Well I have had a night in tonight - I did a little bit of tidying upI am throwing a full charity bag of clothes/shoes away - havnt done that in ages!!
Right, as soon as I can carve my way through everything ive put on my bed, im going to bed.
Night girls0
