Ahhh, you said that on your next birthday you would officially be mid-20s... so I thought you were 24 going on 25 :)

    Hi all

CL what do you mean by not enjoying clothes shopping? You do it nearly every day LOL

WELL DONE ON BUYING THE DESK.

NGlady so how does mid twenties mean 22? LOL (I thought that too CL)

CL your jeans - don't jeans match most things? If you say they don't it's an excuse to get more stuff isn't it? Even boots!

I'm currently starting a 'stocking up and buying/doing what I can, while I can' list because of the situation with ex. Although I have to say for someone that hates buying necessaries, it's really hard to do, so I can understand CL how you must have felt getting the desk.

Hi everyone, how are you all, how are the FWB's? :)

How much is a wet cut at the hairdressers for you ladies? I paid £30 as I didn't have anymore money on me so couldn't get a blow dry.

I was very impressed by it. I went in on the spur of the moment and asked if there was a spare slot.

That has been on my list of necessary to do's for ages but I kept putting it off because I've never enjoyed the whole hairdressing experience of the chatting and questions. This time, however it was very different so I'm definitely going to go again and ask for the same girl.

Today I felt very unconfident and yukky as I'm so confused over this situation about hiring lawyers. Just feel like running away. :(

I'm sure Frogletina said the muse was in his mid 20's in an earlier post!

I remember saying he was young, but I didn't say mid 20's! A little older than that ;)

A wet cut cost me £20 last week - I just needed the ends cutting - I have been growing it and had split ends

I can understand why you feel this way about lawyers - I like to think that I am well educated and can cope with that sort of thing, but I find it all rather scary.

    Hi all

    How are you all doing?

I finally managed to find a blouse that fit today, this was after a week of jackets, trousers, skirts and tops that were too small or too big or I couldn't work out if they looked right or not.

Frogletina, any word from the muse?

I'm going to lose weight now or I'll just have to give up ever talking about it. Yesterday I was going to see another solicitor and was nearly late as I had a major clothes crisis, none of my skirts or trousers fitting..

One of my friends can't understand this and asked why I just didn't buy larger clothes in the first place. My answer is that not all clothes look right if they are too big.

How do the rest of you manage - do you buy larger ones?

I exchanged a few texts with the muse yesterday. I said 'let me know if I need to pack any day soon'. Amongst the texts he sent he said 'hope to see you soon', then he said things were manic at the moment.

Nothing changes - everything stays the same.
