    Thanks Frogletina.

It is hard when the person you really like or love has different goals in life. Do you still see your ex much?

I stayed in today as I wanted to try and have a good think and come to terms with what is happening. I'm still confused about it all and this solicitor issue is getting on my nerves, can't find anyone suitable.

Well 11pm and I'm still confused and now I've got a headache :(

For any of you thinking about love - I don't agree with that quotation 'it's better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all'.

I think that to be rejected by someone you really love or to be in love with someone and they love you but you can never be together is very very painful and it can totally screw you up.

I don't see my ex much at all, last time about 6 months ago. I can text or email him but he doesn't check his emails often or carry his phone about with him as he isn't allowed it at work. I don't contact him often, on his birthday or Christmas - or if I have read something I know he'll be interested in

Sorry to hear how difficult for you things are at the moment and hope things get clearer for you

I had a good day and early evening, but later on things got worse. Just felt really miserable. I was out and lots of people I know were around but I was totally ignored by most of them and felt rejected.

Back home now with guitar man who has never seen me cry before - poor thing :o

OMG- i just want to give you all Big hugs!:grouphug:
Relationships are hard, so is life. But i believe we go through all this stuff good or bad to purify us and mould us into the person we truly are!Seriously fantastic and baulous beings:D
You each and every one of you have something (or loads of stuff) to be happy and feel great about- holidays, homes, money to shop with, and the sense to make returns! Guitar men who love your company and are supportive by just being there.
Hell i haven't even met any of yu or had personal deep and meaningful convos with you but i know that you are all truly special, kind and caring. Even with whatever demons we are all fighting!

Awww what a lovely post - I do completely agree, I love having you ladies to talk to honestly about stuff which I would find hard to talk about to friends face2face. I know we've never met/never will but I actually do class you all as friends. Hugs!!!

I have just arranged to meet someone (from a dating site) on Friday to see a film. I didn't like to ask if he looked the same as his photo - time will tell!

Wish me luck, my profile says I am looking for friends but he has been calling me babe!

    Good luck Chick :)
Sometimes the best relationships come from being friends first - and the worse that can happen? You both get an excuse to be out of hte house for a few hours, meet a new person and share a laugh. Go open minded :) (I met my boyfriend online :) )
What you planning on wearing :D

    Thanks NG

I'm going to wear what I feel my best in which is one of my short black skirts, with tights. Not sure what top to wear yet - I'm conscious that I have a bit too much around the middle (it is starting to shift). I cannot disguise it but want to minimise the effect:o My best top shows too much cleavage for a first meeting!

I hate shoes. If they look good I can't walk in them so I spend most of my life wearing shoes with laces or in the summer, sandals, but cannot wear sandals for an evening out.

  • Ziggles, you are lovely :) T'is easy to forget the positives sometimes.

Frogletina - I hope your date/meeting goes well. I'm the same - I like to go out feeling comfortable rather than uncomfortable & overdone.

Ooh frogletina- nice one! I love dates, the nerves, the drinks, the chat, someone who is even mildly interested in you! Enjoy- and not too much cleavage please- not ladylike! But i must say- a movie- what about the chat? I hope there'll be drinks or a coffee after (i'm doing my eyebrow thing here! :D) Don't forget to smile through the nerves.
@CL & NGlady- thanks- i do like it here! You're all too funny too!
@Anglea- take it easy. Take your time and find a suitable lawyer who you'll be able to deal with in the long term

As for me- much fudge eating- little real food eating and walking into work! (i don't walk anywhere so even the 10 minute walk is newsworthy:o)
And i just won a fight with a doctor who wanted to change my pill. been on this one hassle free for 17 years so anxious about side effects of a new one! Personally i don't care about clotting etc. i just don't want day to day drama with my lady bits and this pill does the job so there!:T

Well Ziggles, I mentioned that I liked films about a couple of weeks ago and he replied that he enjoyed the cinema.

I sent him a message a few days ago to say that I was going to the cinema the next night and did he want to join me there - he didn't log on for a couple of days and when he did he said yes, not realising I'd gone the previous night. So I suggested one of two films this weekend. It's an early showing so time for drinks afterwards. Meeting half an hour before, so that will be crucial!
