I'm not buying a ticket until we have met - and if he doesn't turn up I will buy one just before it starts!

I do get on with most people, let's hope he does too

Its always really hard that first couple of minutes isnt it? where u just stand looking at each other, thinking what to say next. I always have this habbit of either talking far too much or far too little, never just the right amount. If you know about films, i.e actors etc, why not break the ice and ask if hes heard any reviews about xyz film that your going to see x

When I first met ex and went to the cinema it was a near disaster because of me, but it didn't put him off me LOL

I always had a terrible problem with slopes or stairs and the dark. And we went into the film after it started and had numbered tickets so he walked down the aisle to try and find the right seat whilst I had a complete panic attack and couldn't move.

I think I was practically crawling in the end :rotfl:

Well N Glady, when I sent him the message about the 2 films, I also included a synopis of the two

He asked me to choose and then asked me what it was about, so obviously hadn't read the whole of my message!

I will either not talk much or too much and then none of it will make much sense. This musician I met in Turkey a couple of years ago used to say to me 'say something', and I never knew what to say and when I did speak I'm sure he didn't really understand what I was saying. But then I was in awe of him.

Anglea, I should be ok in the cinema as it is one I know well. But I always need the loo before I go, I hope he doesn't think I will do a disappearing act - or perhaps he won't be there when I get back!

Well, I will just try to be myself, the happy self - not the sad self I can sometimes be.

If it was me Frogletina even if I go to the loo before the film, I'd be wanting to go again as soon as it starts, that's why I hardly ever go to the cinema.

Lol Anglea - I would share mine and DEmans dates, but tbh there not 'exciting first dates' anymore.. were like old shoes already lol.

Im meeting up with a friend ive not seen in ages tomorrow though - only as friends, only for coffee. Problem is, I used to date him January 10- - maybe i mentioned him lol. He knows im very happy with my boyfriend and I keep calling him mate i just hope he doesnt think im going to change my mind and go for him instead. Doesnt help im meeting him just after having my hair done for a wedding im off to tomorrow evening so he might think im making an effort for him haha

NGlady you know how much we all loved hearing about your days out at the shopping centres with whatever DeMan you were seeing at the time. Like the one that bought you the bag.

I hope you don't get into a difficult situation tomorrow if he's got a case of unrequited love.

With all this latest topic of conversation it is years since ex left. During my dating days, I always had loads of b/f''s but to be truthful I never actually enjoyed being with them, it was just the thing to do.

I was always the 'leader of the gang' and very extrovert. So either I always met the wrong people (not strong enough in character) or else I am just too self-contained and have no interest in anyone else. I don't even fancy meeting anyone for a quick drink in case they get false hopes and I end up with an unwanted sitaution.

Of course, life can change in an instant if something unexpected happens. So this time next week I could be telling you all of a fantastic date with a man I met in the library that is taking me to Paris for lunch in his private jet :rotfl:
