Happy Mothers Day to all of you who are mums.

Frogletina - I assumed you were the same age as me & NG. Didn't realise you were older (well I'm guessing you are if you have 4 older children) :)

KFC... Zinger chicken is my absolute favourite food on the planet. I try not to eat it too often though, mainly because I begrudge paying £4.39 for the meal :S I know... I'm the queen of stinge when it comes to eating out.

My March spends came to £90.34, £44 of which was on clothes/accessories which I have kept.

The bad part - £203 returns! :o Bad month for internet ordering. Though tbf I'm in dire need of trousers and can only get my length online most of the time, so I order loads of different ones but unfortunately not even one of them fitted this time!

I forgot what my aims for next month were! I'll have to look back on my past posts to remind myself.

    Hi C L

I've 3 children - two girls and a boy, son is the middle one. Yes, one thing about these forums is that you only get clues as to how old people are.

Still, my mother always said - don't socialise with people because they are the same age as you, only with those who have the same interests. It's something I have never forgotten and has stood me in good stead.

Most of my friends are younger than me, as well as the muse, who is only ..

    Hi all

I had written a nice long post this afternoon to you all but had to switch off the computer in a hurry and lost it as I was extremely late due to very long phone calls.

So only a quickie now. Bet you are relieved for that.

    CL, what can I say..........returns.........

Frogletina I'm glad you had a lovely day.

So how old did you say the muse was ?????

Ziggy - what was the sexual innuendo you deleted ?????????????

I did say how old (young) the muse was, but then changed my mind;)

As to Ziggles sexual innuendo, well I didn't notice it (not sure how I could have missed it), so can't comment.

    Hey all

Know what you mean about being online, kind of without realising it building a picture of who somebody is? For example, I think Anglea is in her late 40s from what shes wrote on here. CL i think you are possibly a little younger than me, maybe 19/20. I cant believe im officially in my mid 20s on my next bday!!

Know what you mean about older men - I am an older man woman. Generally, with exception of my other half whose 5 years older, I always tend to go for guys with a 10ish year age gap. Probably go for older men cos I have older sisters who obviously brought bfs home etc so i kind of grew up with it. Shock here for u - when I was 19 I dated a 41 yr old for a couple of weeks lol.

    Hi all

NGlady I am older than you believe (but still managing to be younger than Madonna LOL) and I'm very young at heart.

41 year old and you were 19 - hmmmm I wonder what Freud would say about that?

When I was 19 I had a b/f of 29, however the strangest part was that he was on the run from the police so we had some very unusual dates to say the least!

Hi guys...well we are a mixed bunch aren't we...Just goes to show age aint nuthin but a number ;-)
I'm sure Frogletina asaid the muse was in his mid 20's in an earlier post!

As for the innuendo- i was saying how i liked older gents and ladies- and it made me sort of sound like a bisexual with a penchant for geriatrics...or is that my very dirty mind!

Anglea- a man on the run from the cops!!! Really?? That's crazy!

    Hi all

Ziggles, LOL A good churchgoer like you thinking something like that. That reminds me - Lent Challenge?

Re the b/f. I used to have an extremely adventurous life :)

That's probably one of the reasons I have a shopping compulsion because life is very quiet in comparison and I can get a bit of excitement choosing between a book I don't need and a pair of misfit jeans :rotfl:

    Evening ladies,

Am I really the youngest here?! I always feel like the old fuddy-duddy of the group. I'm 23 NG, so I guess we're pretty much the same age? I get on better with older people anyway... I'm an 80yr old trapped in a young(ish) person's body! I feel quite boring when I read about all your exciting love lives, past and present. My life has been quite mundane so far in comparison :o

Today I bought some jeans and they fit perfectly. So what's the problem, you ask?? Well they don't match anything else that I own  And I can't take them back as I took the hem down to make them longer.

I'm fed up with clothes (I keep saying this and yes I know you wouldn't think it, with the amount of stuff I buy). I think I should just not buy anything, or look at clothing web sites, for an entire month, and maybe my enjoyment of clothes shopping will return??? Maybe if I put myself in a situation where I'm not allowed to buy at all, I'll start to wear the stuff that I've collected in my wardrobe?! I do have things, they're just not exactly perfect on me, if that makes sense. Though I'm sure people wouldn't look at me and think I look bad if I actually wore them...

I must say that today I bought something from my list of 'Things I Avoid Buying But Desperately Need'-List!!!!! :j:j A desk! I found it in a charity shop. £25 well spent, I just have to find someone big and strong to help me to lift it upstairs with me :o

edit to add - I didn't realise how long my post was. oops.
