Well i have anoither donfession...
had afternoon out with a friend an boght two tops £45 in m&co. Both of which i would never have chosen but are really nice on and a change from m norm. So ladies maybe a complete change or a random day window shopping with friends is a good idea for some new ideas of your style, likes, colours etc.
@Anglea- about the binge- no idea- usually i am bored, or spoiling myself or comfort eating after a bad day, but this weekend i went into tatco to buy a paper for dad and just flung 2 in the basket- came upstairs and munched them in one go...not feeling down, or unhappy or anything at all!:(
p.s. i also bought 2 lots of fudge- 1 not so delish peanut one that i'll take to work and eat slowly cos it tastes like it has coconut in. And one slab of my 'usual' which i can't find just now to eat in a oner!:o
Also my car is ready but no idea of the price. I shall look for that fudge for the phone call i'll need comforting after that- last time i called the mechanic he asked if i was sitting down!:eek:Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Hi all
Oh my goodness Ziggles, you and your fudge LOL you've been a bit naughty to say the least so I'm giving you a  just for that. I noticed you added another  for your car LOL
What colour and style are your tops?
I've just been trying to work on a handbag challenge worse than a Rubiks cube LOL On Sunday I moved the contents over to a different bag because I was going out for the day but I couldn't get on with it, so this evening I wanted to declutter everything and move it to bag no 3 which I had in the back of the wardrobe.
So I dug that out and was horrified to see it full of stuff I'd forgotten about. So now I was stuck with excess. I couldn't find a way to only use 1 bag and gave up.
To make matters worse I have no idea why it's such a problem because I didn't have any makeup or hairbrushes yet the bags feel like I've packed housebricks.
Today no butter in the house and crumpets didn't taste very nice with jam alone so I finished off the peanut butter with a spoon.
Next month my challenge will be to lose weight.0 -
I'm bad, you're bad we're all bad- that's why i love it on here!
In a strange way it really does help to moderate my behaviour which is why i keep reporting- i hope it isn't boring you all to tears- but it IS driving me to tears.
Anglea- next month i'll join you on the lose weight challenge. even 2lbs would be an achievement at the rate i'm going:(
p.s. i think this nonsense behaviour is all about self sabotage- i'm slowly spending my move out emergency fund, increasing my cc debt...thereby slowly reducing the funds necessary to move out and survive alone, eating fudge when i've lost a bit of weight. It's enough to make me want to cry, but i'm too busy wondering where my fudge is:p

Hi all
FUDGE FUDGE FUDGE
Instead of you buying fudge Ziggles, why don't I just write about it for you and you can pretend you've eaten it LOL
Well my turn to stray off the path today. I bought some Doritos to eat with a huge baguette for lunch- stuffing them inside the bread instead of eating on their own avoided a mouth problem.
For a night time snack I ate a 600 calorie oat bar and this was after eating a saucepan full of pasta with veggies for tea that should have been enough for a few days. And I felt hungry afterwards!!
Ziggles re sabotage, if you are messing up your chance to leave home I think that it's possible that even if you do eventually get slimmer, you'll attract yet more obstacles to stop you from leaving.
What is your reason for wanting to go in the first place?0 -
Morning ladies...
I have found my new - rather expensive - addiction!! I am in love with the Grupon website. This stemmed from my bodyshop vouchers the other week (£30 spend for £12) I am now checking every morning and evening lol. Since then I have purchased for £12 this pedicure/manicture/foot-fish-thing treatment worth £45 thats so booked up i cant have it done until END OF MAY - and yesterday I purchased the £14 for £40 radley voucher, even though, tbh everything I like on the website is so far out of my purse league right now!! lol ends end of April too so no time to save up for anything decent - oh well get a birthday pressie or something, do fancy a radley glasses case but that wont hardly get seen - i live in my glasses haha. Plus its £40 not the £41 u have to spend.0 -

Hi all
NGlady, what some people will do for beauty do you know anyone with an aquarium you could stick your feet into? LOL You know you can get a good result on your feet by soaking them in a bowl of wee? I'm not joking either.
So why do you think you've got this compulsion to spend on the site. Do you think it's the thrill, that exited feeling of getting a bargain?0 -
Hi all,
What appeals to me clothes-wise... well, I like girly, florals, pretty things in neutral colours (brown/green/cream). Dresses and flowing tops. But when it comes to what I actually wear, I usually opt for hoodies & skinny jeans. Basically boy-ish clothes with a bit of a girly twist, if that makes sense. I don't suit looking overly feminine and would never wear pink. LOL.
NG - The ASOS voucher deal almost tempted me last week, but I resisted. The thing with Groupon is that there's always lengthy T&Cs and minimum spends so you end up spending more than you intendedAs for the fish-feet thing, I passed one of those places and watched people having it done and I'm not sure I could do it! It totally freaked me out.
My spending is alarmingly low this month, and I've sold a few more things too, so my wardrobe is actually starting to look less crammed. I'm not getting the age old 'OMG ARGHHH!!1 What was I thinking! **GUILT**!'-feeling when I open it anymore. Progress???
How are the rest of you doing? My caffeine-free thing was an utter fail, although I have reined it in a bit so maybe I should see that as a positive. My personal challenges for next month are:- Update my private Livejournal at least every other day
- Use my treadmill 3 times/week (no slacking
)
- Focus more on buying non-fashion items. Unless I truly fall in love with something -- and even then, it has to be something that I need.

Hi guys
Long time no post yeah- it's been the week from hell really.:(
i was sick (literally) at work on wednesday afternoon so came home, cramps etc on thursday so stayed in and friday too. friday was topped off by finding out that someone in our house may lose their job. I am by nature a worrier so guess what...panic has set in. Not about survival as the 'grown-ups' at home have pretty good jobs so no worries there but just the worry of the stress involved for all of us as well as every other little worry that i have been able to keep under control for months:eek:
I am also facing a tough, heavy season at work so i'm quite worried about my workload and being able to do what is expected/needed of me!
In other news- spending this month ASTRONOMIC- a bit of an I DON'T CARE attitude there- i must try harder:mad:. On the other hand car came in at exactly the amount i had saved! How cool is that:cool:
@Anglea- not even interested in fudge at the moment...just bread...too scared to eat much else really! You know what it's like when you have a tummy upset you think anything could set you off, and i have IBS anyway so added fear!
@CL- i am with you on all your goals for next month- maybe we can be home exercise partners...badger/publicly shame each other into getting it done??? What do you think?
@Frogletina- i know what you mean about Groupon- it's hell. i am subscribed for 2 cities (i'm in the middle where they don't cover) si i get 2 a day!!!! Soo many appealing things...do not under any circimstances subscribe to living social- had to cut myself off that too. (and is it me but is there just too much edible stuff on there...and holidays?)
@Nglady- i agree about the personal shopper- i got a really nice dress in debenhams once that i would never have chosen from what i would term the 'granny section'!(too expensive though at £100)
I'm not going to church tomorrow cos i don't feel like it!- there i said it and i don't care...well not much:o

Oh, it's not me that uses Groupon
Sorry to hear how you've not been well Ziggles, and about your increased workload
My spending has been through the roof this month, though not spent it all on me - so I've decided it doesn't count.
I've been feeling a bit down today and my friends noticed it when I was out and I didn't want to explain why so tried to cover it up. Sometimes it's easier not to tell. Not Rachmaninov
