@Frogletina- I wouldn't bother with the potential...these t'internet peeps can be such timewasters- I would email the muse an oh so slightly suggestive pic then...:D asking when you're gonna meet up.
It's up to them now. My muse has already said he should be free the second week of April, so will wait for confirmation of that.
I know what you mean Anglea, that he's probably playing games but I'm hoping one day I'll understand what he really feels. Do we ever really know what men feel?
My partner spent 6 months thinking about leaving me and be single again and I didn't have a clue. He wanted a younger woman (he was younger than me) and almost 10 years later he still hasn't found one.Not Rachmaninov

Hi all
Frogletina, men are mysterious. My ex walked out talking about divorce and all sorts. 6 years later and as far as I know he's never been with any woman and goes out once a month to see his friends.
I think for some people there is more of a lure to find someone when you are already in a relationship as it seems risky and exciting and you feel confident because there is someone already at home in the background, than when you are single and could have anyone.0 -
I think what it is about meeting blokes when your in a relationship easier than when you are single is - well for me anyway - I am more confident when im in a relationship, and men do prefer more confident women, you are oozing that level of attractiveness that they want, that strada - but when you are single on the other hand (I am) less confident and guys kind of shy away from the non confident women. For some reason for the first couple of weeks after a relationship, even though I am too messed up (lol) I am more confident than normal so i do meet guys, who i scare off by being on the rebound..
Oh the joys of being in your early 20s lol.0 -
Hi all
How are you?
We'll have to rename this thread before long LOL I read less about returns than I do about unrequited love
NGlady are you relieved you have found Mr Right now or do you still fancy looking round?
I bought a couple of books today first time in about 8 weeks. I haven't bought any snacks etc as part of this month's challenge but my Lent challenge is not going well with the nails0 -
Hey ladies
I've just spent the princely sum of £12 in tatcos on reduced clothes and shoes (for presents not me!) :jI'm really impressed the stuff was down to £2 average so i just went up and down the rails picking randomly. They can all sort it when it get's there.
I saw my lovely FWB tonight...very very nice to say the least.;):D:cool: An excellent start to my long weekend- off friday and monday. Did ask me to stay over but i wasn't prepared- very fussy about having all my stuff with me when i sojourn:p...maybe next week.
I'm doing well with the lent thing...and snacking...even reducing the stuff i take to work for snacks. Hopefully my weight will report this!
I am struggling though with the urge to shop shop shop (for myself). Thank goodness my car is going in on saturday for repairs and mot and i know it's going to cost a bomb or i would have spent my car fund money by now!:(
@Anglea- maybe if you ccut your nails very short??? Or just paint them with that yukky stuff
Happy Friday!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
I've spent most of my budgeted money for the month.
A lot of it on food - did an Ocado shop, £103.08 worth for 65.50 taking off offers and discounts. Also I am having drinks after the gym at Starbucks a few times!
Have loads of food and household items now to last for ages - perhaps I'd better not do a shop next month.
Should only need eggs, veg and milk for the rest of this month and probably next month. Perhaps I should go back to £5 a day for food in AprilNot Rachmaninov

Lucky you ziggles! Have had a couple of texts from my muse - no confirmation of us meeting yet, says he has a bad back from digging, I told him to get better for April or I'd have to go and look after him the best way I could! That text elicited no replyNot Rachmaninov

Eveninggg,
I've never heard of Tatcos. It sounds like my kinda shop though! Gotta love two quid bargains.
Ang - you are either psychic or are spying on me?! I did actually buy more boots, but they're being returned. I. A.M. R.I.D.I.C.U.L.O.U.S.
You did well to go without books for so long, so I think that a little slip-up is forgiveable.
ziggles - it seems your FWB is a good weight loss aide - good exercise and a distraction from food! LOL. We should all have one...
I was going to rant about clothes but again I can't be bothered... same old problems, no point mulling over as it just frustrates me. Shopping makes me angry at the moment :S Maybe that's why I don't have much to say atm! x0 -
Oh dear CL that doesn't cound good- why does it make you angry? Is it the doing it part- like me bingeing and with every mouthful hating myself?
Well all i can say is one step at a time...maybe look up some of those Bach flower remedies. The ones in my emotional eating kit i'm sure are applicable to most addictions/obsessions/repeated behaviour. Even if the effects are psycho-somatic I would recomend it. If you are open to alternative remedies.
P.s. Tatco is a name i learnt on here foe T*sco.Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Hi all
Nice to see you on here again CL.
Yes, I'm psychic, I knew you'd bought boots
I am allowed to buy books this month and got another today. I haven't bought any snacks since the start of the month although I bought a pack of sultana and syrup pancakes yesterday which I was planning to eat as breakfasts for the next 3 days, however, they got eaten in a bit of a binge
You and me both on the misfit clothes.
Did you keep anything? What was wrong with the boots?0
