    Hello everyone

I stumbled upon this thread (on the internet when I had a million other things to do!) and wondered what FWBs were so I just had to work backwards to find out.

Love it! I've now subscribed to the thread so look forward to hearing how things all work out for everyone.

    Happy Monday all!:j
    And a big hello to susie-sue- welcome:wave:
What a wekend up North...been horrendous with snow and everything. It's a miracle i letf the house at all.
I went out with friend on Saturday and made it home ok but going home in dad's rear wheel drive car was a bit of a mare...took me 15 minutes to go less than 2 miles!! All becasue i wanted to save on petrol in my own little car- serves me right!:o
Didn't make it to fwb's house as he lives in the hills 15 miles away so thought it would be a bit foolhardy...maybe later on in the week. May request an overnighter...
Spent £50 that was supposed to be paid into the bank on random stuff on Saturday so i'm smacking myself at that :mad:but otherwise nothing else to report in that department.

    Have a nice day!

    Zx

    Hello all

Ziggles, I notice there wasn't any mention of Lent - how are you doing with it? I'm finding it difficult to stop biting my nails. If I don't manage it this week it will be time to paint them with the yukky stuff.

I'm glad you've had the snow intead of me although that was rotten luck with FWB, still an overnighter could be interesting LOL

I've kept up with the March challenge.

Hi Susie Sue, it's not too late for you to join in the challenges - either give up something for Lent or join in the March challenge - which can be anything relevant for you -e.g. setting a budget on spending, or eliminating something you eat or drink.

Hi susie-sue, welcome to the thread

N Glady - was supposed to have a friend over yesterday afternoon, got back from swimming at the exact time they were to arrive to find a telephone message that they were not feeling well. We had planned to go out for a meal so I went by myself, how sad is that? It wasn't even that nice, it's the company that often is the best thing.

I spent the rest of the day doing the washing and trying to tidy the apartment which never gets fully done - I just seem to move piles from one place to another

CL - re clothes, I've never been able to wear jeans, I never feel comfortable in them but I love skirts. Hope you find something you feel good in.

Ziggles, waiting to hear how it goes with overnighter! Not heard much from my muse lately, but that's nothing new. I seem to have to find something interesting to text that will cause him to reply - it's a strange friendship. As to the other potential, I've not heard from him for a while - he said he'd be in touch when he has a few days off.

Anglea, Ah the old faithfully demin skirts. I have one too, well lots really but one faithful one. My wardrobes really needs a good sort out - I hate throwing clothes away but I have so many things that I either don't or can't wear. It's silly really

I'm setting myself a new challenge - I'm going to throw one item of clothing out a week. Not too much to begin with, but it's a start. And I'm going to get those items I de-cluttered down to the charity shop instead of moving them from one room to another

    Hi all

Frogletina, I hope you have lots and lots of clothes so getting rid of one a week wouldn't be that hard. Just the thought of it gets me panicky. I did get rid of a few things recently but all the back rail of misfits are still there! Mind you since my sudden weight gain it look as though all my clothes ought to go :(

Sorry to hear your social arrangements didn't go to plan.

Can you tell us more about either of your potential FWB's? The muse is sounding very mysterious indeed!

    Does giving up FWBs count??

Haha susie-sue...it has to be something you do already...unless it's a problem area for you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Must say i would love to have that problem.
As for the beady-eyed Anglea...yes yes...i had fish pie on Friday...not supposed to eat carbs with supper...but that's what was there and there was so much i couldn't in all conscience make something else. The monster would have been peeved (i.e. step-mother)
I also had sone fudge on Sunday...only 100g of quality mocca fudge it was soooo gooood. I want to drive the 15 miles to get more on payday...terrible huh!
Otherwise i have been doing good with the not-bingeing- lost 4lbs this week by keeping one snack/fruit from lunch bag and having that between 5 and 6.30 then only having a mini corner for pudding. Though i confess i have bought proper sized corners as there is more variety (the plain yog and choc covered biccie, crisp balls type)
Oh yes i forgot...never made it to church because i'm so damn lazy. but going to ladies meeting tonight though.
is that enough detail Anglea??? :p

@Frogletina...i don't think going out on your own is sad at all...unless you're unprepared for it. Maybe that's why you didn't enjoy it. Maybe something to try another time when you have nothing but your own company and a good restaurant to enjoy!
As for the non-communicative fwb...i find something a bit provocative always get's the party going...despite taking 10 minutes to actually send the text.:D
look at me lowering the tone...:o
And back to you good ladies :)

    Hi all

Thank you Ziggles for a full report and WELL DONE on losing 4lbs. I've never really fancied fudge I wonder what it is that attracts you so much? The sweetness?

Of course I wouldn't dream of asking what you are texting to your FWB but it does sound interesting LOL

My muse is mysterious, young and beautiful. It will be a lucky girl who can capture his heart. He never answers a direct question, and is always vague but does say he wants us to meet again - but his possible dates come and go and something always happens to prevent us meeting (he says he is unlucky)

The other potential guy responded to a message I sent him on a dating site - I just said 'What a lovely photo!', and a few messages later he suggested maybe we could meet up. He said he would let me know when he was free - I'm beginning to think he's had a change of heart but I'm not chasing to find out.

And my heart tells me I really want my muse
