Yeah Cl how much are these earrings??? Go on shock us!:p

Anglea- like i said- quite compact with it...wear size 22 jeans from M&S and evans. I have a 16-18 top. Skirts i hate as they hang high in the back and low in the front so i don't bother. I always used to get men's jeans adjusted in the waist but now don't bother thanks to size availability and a new found love for a belt (always used scarves instead as they don't cut into you as bad and can be tied very tight to get the waist proper.

As for the prayer- I can usually manage a quick missive (yes i know it's bad) but i can't get into reading my bible or the devotional. Just plain lazy I suppose:o

I've just had a thought...Lent starts Wednesday...What are you all giving up?
I might cut down random snacking at work. Only have brekkie item before 10, small snack at 11.30/12 and savoury something at 3.30. I usually have fruit randomly but about 3 snacks as well stuff like fingers, biscuits, choccies etc

    Hi all

Ziggy are your jeans the hips type? That's the only sort I ever see anywhere and they don't work for my shape so they are either too big or too small. If they are too big and I use a belt then they tend to look strange around the tops of the thighs. Unless I was to wear a very long top - then it doesn't look right from the side view :(

Lent........I'll give it some thought I've got a few ideas but don't need anything too difficult as I've already got 2 things going on here this month.

Tell you what, not eating or drinking at the computer is making me really think twice not only about what I normally eat, but about my habits and routines.

I haven't bought any snacks just for me and even though there is something in the house, I haven't touched it. I only eat goodies if I'm away from the house or have a visitor. I'm not sure if I'd last the month literally not eating any. I had cakes on Sunday when I was out.

Ziggy, at home you could try cutting out one of your snacking times with reading a passage from the Bible.

    Hi Guys

Desperately fighting the urge to go crazy shopping in town. not for anything specific...just anything that catches my eye. But i am resisting...so far...
@Anglea- my jeans are the standard rise sit on the waist type...my bits would just spill far too much over the top of hipsters...
Decided to go for no meat on fridays and no carbs with supper, just meat and veg/salad.
Also decided to do my bible reading after work before supper- in the time i usually spend rambling on t'internet.
Also going to try to get up even 10 minutes earlier to use the [STRIKE]crosstrainer[/STRIKE] clothes horse in the kitchen! My weight is getting me down this week:(
@CL- how's the caffeine withdrawal coming on. Hopefully you're not so exhausted now.
And speaking of friends with benefits...i have one too now! :D I must admit that is part of the reason why i am revamping my underwear drawer and getting diff clothes;)

But I really want to meet up again with someone I met last year, it might be on the cards :j

    Eveninggg...

I went shopping yesterday with mumsy but only spent £3.50! I returned (yes, I did say RETURNED and not BOUGHT ;)) some boots too, so had £15 refunded. Very cheap day for me.

I actually saw a few things I loved but they didn't have my sizes :( All the jeans I tried on were mega tight on the calfs and loose on the waist (a problem I never used to have), and the beautiful earrings must've been bought because they were gone when I went back for them :( They were £20 anyway so waaaay too expensive for costume jewellery.

So there we go. Bit of a naff shopping trip! I don't know why but I'm feeling really self-conscious about my stomach at the moment and it's stopping me from wearing/buying certain things... yet in the summer I was three sizes bigger than I am now, and I was comfortable wearing tight-fitting vest tops and an unbuttoned cardigan. I won't do that now :o

I'm jealous of you ladies and your potential FWBs. I don't think I'm ready for men, need to sort myself out first! Doesn't stop me looking when I'm out and about though ;S

Caffeine... well I have done ok. I think I slipped up a couple of days ago, but only one extra drink. I did buy 4x cans of energy drink (they were 43p each or 4for£1 - seemed a waste to just buy one) BUT my mum is under strict orders to only allow me one can per day :S I feel like a naughty child... or an addict... LOL. Still going to bed earlier than usual though, so maybe I will always feel tired early without it :(

Well, I've kept in touch with the gorgeous guy I met last year, even today we exchanged a few texts, but though he talks about us meeting up again (we don't live close to each other), it hasn't yet happened but today he mentioned maybe April.

I do feel that my life is on hold while waiting.

Moneywise, Monday was a good day - I found my bank statements had been going to my previous address. It was one of their customer advisers who amended my address in error and as it was a serious breach of the data protection act, I was given £100 compensation.

I then went to my previous address and was given some of the statements unopened (but did not get all, it is a student house now and I don't think they have heard of putting letters back in the post)

But among the post was a letter from the inland revenue with a cheque for overpaid tax

I then went to Debenhams re the umbrellas and got the correct discount applied this time. Hopefully I now have enough umbrellas to last a lifetime as my now moved house guest told me that he does have my old umbrella at his bedsit - he was always borrowing it - and certainly the last time without telling me!

I didn't go over budget last month - this month may be a different matter, but I've added the swimsuits to my holiday budget - cheating? maybe, but at least they are accounted for.

Went to a Salsa class tonight - normally £5 but included free in my gym membership!

Just a very quick message from me today girls --

WOOHOOO to the ladies with the 'fwb' - I hope they make you feel great :) Nothing like having somebody who finds you completely irresistable, who you are also find really irresistable. I have never been in the situation, for some reason I always find myself far too involved with a guy, or them far too involved with me!

If me and DEman ever break up - maybe ill try it hehe.

Just think of the weight ull be loosing girls ;)
