    Hi all

Morocha, looks like you've got some really good ideas for your extra cash.

FE good luck in your new place, sounds like you need it.

NGlady - are you on another date?

I was looking around shops today, didn't buy any clothes as didn't see anything suitable, but gave in and bought a few things, one that was necessary, the other wasn't.
  • Hi, I hope you're all having a good weekend. I've just been for a meal. I feel so full but enjoyed it! Looking forward to the X Factor starting tonight :)

morocha - those jeans were a bargain.

Anglea - I doubt the shape or colour of the plate I ate from would make a difference to me. I guess things like that just don't bother me?? But if it works as a deterrent for you then that's the important thing.

My spends today aren't bad, just a couple of loaves of bread (2x30p) and of course the meal. On Monday I will get the bus into town to the Post Office and return the masses of things that I ordered online. I'm thinking about going into the city for a look around too, but not sure if I will or not.

This is the first time in a while that I've been so lax about recording my spends. I haven't written them down for about a fortnight now... must get back to it, and just try to guesstimate for the past couple of weeks.

  • Ooh, that's good NG :) Hope you have a lovely time.

Well I got 4 numbers on the lotto last night. First time I've bought a ticket in ages (I tend to be lucky with the lottery, out of 10 tickets I've won £80)... but the worst part? My other two numbers were only ONE NUMBER different to what were drawn. Couldn't believe it, I was gutted!!!

Anyway, I was going to mow the lawn today but I don't know whether it's too wet? I mean it hasn't rained for a few days but it feels damp... but that could be because it's so long :S Argh, I think I'll ask on the gardening board.

NGlady - that sounds lovely, details please (well, not all of them LOL).

CL- well done you! How much will that be?

Garden, after the thunderstorm yesterday I'm not mowing but will probably do some pruning. It can be very hard work on wet grass CL so I wouldn't advise it.
  • It's £60, so not too bad... still I'd have preferred the jackpot

Yep, seems the mowing will have to be left for today :o My main worry was electrocution, I didn't think about clogging up the blades. I think I might join you with the pruning - some of the bushes are so overgrown they're popping over the neighbour's fence.

CL - well done with your 4 numbers. We rarely seem to have any luck with ours, I'm hoping that means we're just holding out for all 6 :rotfl:

No spending for me today, was supposed to do the car boot earlier but when I got up it was p*ssing down so called it off...then got up 2hrs later to beautiful sunshine ...typcial!!!

Could do with popping out into the garden myself, wisteria just won't stop growing and the weeds could do with a good mow but frankly I am not sure I can be bothered today.....

    Hey all :)

Hope everybodies had a good weekend?

I've had a really lovely weekend, went out with Mr Derby on Friday and Saturday night and had a lovely time. Yesterday I went to get my hair done, and I treated myself to having it curled for my Saturday night out, and I felt so special :) We didn't particually do what we had intended last night, we intended on going out clubbing in Derby instead we ended up going for desert (Chocolate marble and knickerblockerglorie before anybody comments lol) and cocktails :) was a lovely night. Today I have been shopping, but OMG SHOCK HORROR - I only brought some little travel size bottles for shampoo etc :D bargain!

Managed to get Vodaphones asses into gear and I should be connected by Wednesday. Decided I don't like my new phone though. So have been thinking, going to look at selling the handset then trying to find an amazing deal sometimes places like argos have got 200 quid phones for like 70 quid or something daft :D can anybody remember what the shop is called that FE sold her breadmaker?

    Hi all

NGlady - thanks for the update sounds as though you had a good time.

Are you ill??? No returns or even more shopping. I'm disappointed that I can't tell you off :(

That shop I think it was Cash Converter.

I did some gardening. Weather forcast is really bad for tonight - storms and floods. Typical Summer.
