Thanks NGlady for you lovely long post, good to catch up with 'all your shopping' at least CL will be happy you've posted your spends. I have to ask - what have you done with all your clothes from last summer - are you wearing them now, or got rid of them?
Glad you are feeling better now. You can be a participant of our excercising chats now you're going to start your walks.
It's lovely how you treated your friend and are thinking about your mum and nephew.
Mr Sheffield?? vital statistics please LOL0 -
Aha, I know you're right about the driving lessons Anglea, I just know what I'm like. I don't do things by halves - either I'll be absolutely hopeless or I'll amaze myself. I'm hoping for the latter. We'll soon find out, anyway..!
NG, your spends aren't bad enough to make me feel better
You did good, I think. At least most of your purchases were considered instead of impulsive. I was tempted by the £5 La Senza pjs but then I remembered that the tops are always too short on me. They had some nice ones though. 0 -
Last summer angela I worked in a FACTORY so to be honest with you everything I wore then has got a specialist paint on them. So not really wearable, plus didn't have a lot of money so just kind of wore my old summer clothes out
I tend to own a LOT of winter clothes not many summer :S so need to sort my summer clobber out, hopefully next summer ill be able to wear some of these again
Yep I shall start my exercising again
I tend to do the jogging on the spot quite often so hopefully do a bit more of what you said
another idea... perhaps just for people in work as others have got more time during their days... when waiting for you toast to pop up in the morning why not run on the spot then?
and if you get a bus? why not walk to one further stop
I dont know much about him yet lol. 29 from sheffield works in IT.
CL - i brought them ones with the big bow
I am sorry I havn't been able to make you feel any better, perhaps when I post next weekend you will be happier? and then on the 28th you will be extra pleased? in fact, ill buy a dress and blame you
have you been keeping a talley CL on your spends over the past few months?Learning to be 'good with money'0 -

CL - well you are an accountant (i think i read that anyway lol) kind of gives you an exception of the sad rule on that one
can I ask, as it may make it easier for me to keep track, what cataogies you put them under? I can never define them.
I am still very impressed by your April spends
I think even if I took all my "needed" expenditure out, so bus fares and bills I still couldn't last on £46 on luxuries for a month. I think we maybe should embark on a challange? Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
Hi all
Taking a few days away in the UK in a couple of weeks, then going to London for another daytrip, to give myself a much needed break before uni starts.
Still saving for a new soundcard, TV and small fridge for my new room.

Good aft all

Well I have had a very positive day food wise so far. Woke up this morning, had a egg and soilders with no butter for breckfast, this could have been improved with brown bread but it's all we had in, compaired to my toast with butter and jam.. an improvement
Then I went to town. My mum and dad we're going to Greggs for a pasty but I said oh im not
(Yep, can you believe it!!) I was 'hungry' for something though so I had a fresh fruit smoothie which was lovely
Took the white jeans back from yesterday £5 - out of which, I spent £3 in newlook. I am hopefully going to start my walking again so I wanted a sloppy jumper that I didn't mind ruining to do this in, its from the worldcup but it looks acceptable for now with some joggies
Also a smelly fragrance spray £1.99 from boots.
Brought my mum some flowers (Need to stop being so soft on my family lol) £4 and some fruit for over the next week another £4
Did try a LOVELY shirt on in HM - ruffley neck for work, but I have decided I am not "quite" small enough for it YET so it would be a lovely item to be on my list for the end of the month instead. Also tried some other quite pretty things on in River island for my holiday in the sale, but I didn't quite love them enough, in the past i'd have brought anyway!
Right well im off for a little rest then I am going to tidy up
