I tend to buy things, always the same, plenty of dresses etc. But come the day, im just going to the Cinema, or a wonder round town, then I have trouble, I dont have more than a handful of tops to wear with jeans, so sort of getting that part of my wardrobe sorted now

I used to have that problem! I'd buy lots of pretty things without considering if it went with anything in my wardrobe. I've got around this by buying quite a few simple t-shirts, blouses and cardigans is several neutral colours that will go with lots of my stuff in an emergency:A0 -

Hi girls,
I must admit I have ended up with loads (and loads and loads) of t-shirts because some of them with lycra end up too tight to wear over the top of something (tum sticks out) yet ok tucked in, so have to get lots of different variations, different lengths, thicknesses etc.
Also it's annoying when you buy a colour that you normally get yet when you get it home and try it on you look awful! I still keep them just in case LOL0 -
yes, false economy, get some cheapo pj's from Primark or a supermarket. I'm currently wearing a really cute pink vest and black shorts with butterfly motifs that were £5 from Primark0

Material, I am going to go shopping next saturday, payday monday
and only look at essentials that I need, no pretty dresses that i'll never wear etc
I used to have loooooads of t-shirts, but I did a job last year, involving specialist paint and how messy I used to get :O I ruined them all lol cos I cnt stand wearing messy clothes, Never thought of primark for t-shirts lol Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
