  • Hi Angela, Lots of loose tops in M&S. Have to admit I've been tempted by a couple to cover my tummy which keeps expanding. Got a lovely one in the charity shop last year which I seem to wear all the time now. Still trying to cut down with varying success. Aiming to slowly increase my non-spend days.

    Hi all

I bought another book today and was under pressure because I couldn't find any I wanted but knew I couldn't leave the shop without one. I guess it's because of the family situation that's stressful otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with it. That probably sounds a bit mad to some people. But I don't eat chocolate so can't have that for comfort.

I'm still excercising and walking. CL are you still running?

VNMS - have you had a NSD today?

    Hi morocha,

Join the club when it comes to weight loss ;)

I seem to go down a bit then get stuck and go back up, no matter how much I excercise. I think the key may be not to give up. In the past I used to get really enthusiastic then avoid doing anything if I could get away with it. Consistency is needed.

So don't give up now you're month is finished.

    Hi all,

Yep Anglea, I'm still jogging every couple of days I can do about 30 minutes now without stopping. I've no idea if it is contributing to the weight loss, but I definitely feel better in myself.

Today I took another pair of brand new jeans out from the depths of my wardrobe... they're a small size 14 so I'm amazed that they fit. They were a little tight on the hips when I first put them on, but I wore them today and they have slackened off a bit.

So yeah... not much to report here. I haven't bought any clothes. I did buy a new pair of earphones as my old ones broke, but that's about it!

NG: sorry to hear you were ill on your birthday, that must have been rubbish :( Are you going shopping tomorrow?

morocha: keep trying with the weight loss. I honestly had the same problem for months, I'd lose 1lb and then gain it back the following week, but for some reason it's coming off and staying off now.

NGlady - I wondered what you'd been doing this week. Sorry to hear you were poorly for your birthday.

I wonder if your next b/f will be Mr Distance or Mr Local. I think we ought to start betting on it LOL

Hope you have a great time tomorrow.
