SL so glad u are back !!!

girls, i will comment in your post in a minute...

It seems that Oh and I are going to Cheshire today... do not know for sure.. but if we do... i will look for some sandals there.
I have some 3 summer dresses for an important event in July, but i have no shoes to go with them... in my last clearout i got ride of almost anything that hurt my feet... i only own a pair of hush puppies... holiday kind confy shoes and some clarks, the same... not dressy at all. they are both my fab holiday shoes.

Anyway... i only want one of the Nine west shoes... but they are so cheap £29 each plus if you spend over £50 you get £20 off.... and i like both of them now... they are both so trendy that will glam up any outfit. I will make up my mind by the end of today... if they are still in stock....and i do not find anything better in Cheshire today.

Sorry to hear that :(There's so much competition for every job right now that a lot of really capable people are being let down. My mum's friend was on £40k a year with loads of experience and she got made redundant... she recently went for an interview for a basic job with a salary of £15k and she didn't get it. It's gutting.

Today I spent £1.77 on food and bought a bra for £5 (used a voucher though). Oh, and £2-something on postage for some stuff I sold.

    Hi girls :j

Thought I was going to be in for problems as my computer connection went this morning and only just got it back after a lot of fiddling around at the back of the comp.

Hello WeshopTWA. :j that's a good idea, to have a blog and list all your spends and possible spends. I know quite a few people that would have loads of entries if they set up their own one (naming no names of course LOL)

Went out today, couple bottles distilled water, then to the cider brewery - bought 4 bottles the smaller size, all different e.g. Green Goblin. Then paid for meal at McDonalds for DS and me, then TKMax - never been to a large out of town store before - bought mum's birthday present ( for June) and a pretty mug for me. I tried on some coats (as my current one has faded) but all too small. From the racks and racks of clothes, there was only a half rack of skirts - and that was all sizes combined. Didn't buy any as they looked too uncomfortable or would crease too much. Annoying as I'm desperate for summer skirts. Not sure my total spends for the day but around £20 which isn't bad seeing as just the book I bought for mum was £25 full price and I bought it for £6.

    NGlady - sorry about Asda.

    tlb £85
  • Aww, so sorry you didn't get the job NGlady. Keep your pecker up.

Just bus fares spent today. Have put a pic on the blog of a pink dress I kind of wanted, but went to the shop after work and it's sold out. And it's also sold out online, which means I now really, really want it!

Does anyone else have this thrill of the chase thing? I'll do everything in my power to try to track it down cos I can't have it - even though I wasn't all that bothered before, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!

    xx

I really like the Peacocks dress you posted. What age would you say it would suit? I mean, how old is too old?
    I'm not v good at dressing age-appropriately :o

To be honest, I'm not sure. I think it depends on your confidence, on which I'm a bit carp. Even as a super-slim teenager I wouldn't have felt I could wear something like that. Am trying to have a bit more fun with clothes though to see out my thirties!
