Another spend to report, got a grey jersey boyfriend jacket in Tesco sale for £10, don't feel too bad about it though as been looking for one for a while. Also managed to get the toiletries I needed and loads of food to see me through til payday so won't be setting foot in a shop in a while! I hope.....

Jeggings are leggings that look like jeans...

    Evening,

It's free ebay listing this weekend... I just relisted a couple of things, and intend to take lots of photos and do some new listings tomorrow. I'm going to aim for 20 listings

I'm having one of those days again where I feel suffocated by all of the *stuff* around me. Blah, anyway...

NGlady, well done on your low spent day. That was nice of you to treat your dad.

How are the rest of you doing? xx

I wish I had the patience to do 20 items, always say whenever its a free listing weekend oh i dont have time this one, ill do it next. And I never quite get the chance, shall try for 10 listings tomorrow.

Decided to continue with my saving as much as I can idea, try and avoid my weekly shop next fri (Probs wont manage it tho :/ ) but going to save up for another 2 weeks then treat myself to something special, or maybe some nice new summery clothes ready for spring.

Also, I live on a HUGE new housing estate and last summer every night id walk round it for half an hour, really got me out of the house, gave me a degree of privacy to make any phone calls etc, and i lost a stone in a month along with some healthy eating, so really going to try and get that back from next week. Its stupid im off all day but dont fit a walk in :/ cos i dont "have time"

YAY on your no spend day morocha :)

P.s YAY for me, just paid off my Oasis card :) There was only a very small amount on there but its still a nice feeling nonetheless that for a 20.00 balance I was giving them over a pound in interest until I paid it, I know its only a pound but its still money i dont have to spend. Was to busy in the mindset that ah pay the lower amount have more spending money errr nuh :S I want to crack my additions next week (only £10 on there - interest free at the moment) then I shall have a stab at my virgin card £260.00 - probs take 3 months to clear this if I don't get my job at £2.80 per day then theres the Halifax.... I owe about £600 on there :S If I get my asda job I really am going to make a good stab at this wont be able to make a good footting with this until im at work or ive stopped with the virgin :) This site has woken me up to the "Oh i've only got £20 left in cash whops let me put this on this card instead"
I am going to keep my oasis card but only for the reason it gets me free postage on stuff :)

Thanks for enlightening me about jeggings NGlady. I used to wear skin tight stretchy jeans with baggy tops and they looked good. But nowadays anything like that looks awful on me but no idea why, as though my shape has somehow changed although the weight is the same.

Food related changes I've decided to adopt -
cakes in the house - only if I've made them
cafe - cakes only if I'm with someone else
cafe alone - have only tea or a meal
crisps - only at weekends and buy only single bags

    Made these decisions
because I bought yet another bag of crisps today and already had multi packs of Teddies at home. At the cafe had a massive custard danish pastry then went home and had some more of that cake I bought in error yesterday and this time thought it was a good idea to pour cream on it.

No wonder I don't look good in jeans anymore. :(

Completelylost - if you are feeling so overwhelmed with all your stuff, couldn't you take a photo of all of it all stacked up on your bed, to remind you next time you want to buy a lot?

Morocha - how lovely, you'll be getting some shoes from OH. Well done on the NSD

NGlady, no shopping for yourself?? Was there a power cut? :)

Swinstie - avoiding the shops for a long time. I don't believe it! I'll have to check the CCTV in your area :)

    That's a good idea NGlady.

For all you shoe addicts -I don't know if any of you have seen that comp to win designer shoes and every entry receives a mystery prize? I found it on the Magic Freebies site, can post the link if you want..

Sometimes I think that swapping one addiction with another isn't the best thing to do. That's easy for me to say... not so easy to do! I find I eat a lot more when I don't go out. Bread & crisps are my worst enemies.

As for taking photos - I did take some about a week ago, with the intention of posting them here to shame myself. :o But I didn't... I deleted them. Since then things are slightly better (i.e. some of it has gone) but my room is still cluttered.

Today is about reducing the amount of cr*p that I own... so I'm going to get all my ebay listings organised for tonight (photos taken, listing written out and ready to submit).

edit - oh, and last night I tried transferring £50 out of paypal...it charged me £5:eek: to do a wire transfer :(:(:( It must be a new thing as it has never done that to me before. I was so annoyed
