I ordered three pairs of shoes. I wasn't expecting them to fit... but one of them does :o

Now how to I convince myself that I don't need these shoes??? They are gorgeous. Andthey're red suede. I've never had a pair of red shoes before. I really do need some new flats... but nude/brown would probably have been more sensible. But I take a size 9/10 and haven't seen any in those colours that fit.

Oh, and I have just been on the Faith website and seen a gorgeous bag :( I can't have it though, as I've got two new ones now.

Hi Nglady, I will make the money for one of the handbags on ebay - maybe I'll have to send the other one back:eek: Good on you for unsubscribing, I've been doing the same for the last week - but think it might take a couple of weeks to take effect as I'm still being bombarded with emails.:mad::mad:

, I really feel for you on the rent front and hope you manage to sort something out. Stressing about finances is so counter-productive, It always sends me on a spree.

I'm going into town shortly with OH but am not planning on spending anything - watch this space:A LC
    Save me from spending...

CL do you mean the Sophie Kinsella shoppaholic range? there fabby, really fun to read :) I read once not long back called "How not to shop" quite quite humours, but it was about a woman who wants designer when she can afford Primark and taking a stab into the unknown to a new career :)
Yeah, that's the ones. I didn't manage to get to the library but will try to go tomorrow. I need something lighthearted to read... plus I've been finding that reading before bed makes me sleep better than watching tv :)

Aah... now I'm probably not the person to ask when it comes to deciding you don't want completely gorgeous things - I'd always go for something a bit unusual. But in your position - think about whether you would really wear them, do they go with things you have, and if so how much would you wear them?
Consider the formula of CPW - Cost Per Wear. If you only wear them once then very expensive.. if you wear them all the time and love them then much better value!
It's good to get things you love.. but only you know how much you love them and how much you'd actually use them if you got them. Can you sell anything to make the money for them?
  • Well, with a lot of sacrifice, I managed to pay my rent...this happens every month as my housing benefit comes in at under the amount needed, and my JSA is only £36 a week due to the amount I have to pay out of it towards the rent. Anyway...that's a roof over my head for now....another £250odd is due in 2 weeks and the drama starts again.

    Hi all :)
Been for my interview for Asda - THREE interviews for a Asda job (Which is actually four as u get a 5 min slot to question anything on your application too!!)?! And aparinatly there very strict on who they employ my god half the staff in the branch are rubbish so if they class that as good customer service I wont have any prob lol.

Was very tempted by having a KFC today - was a bit early and it was raining and kfc nearby, but I didnt :) I am out tomorrow so instead of buying 2x lunches ill buy one nice one tomorrow :)

Red suede shoes sound actually very lovely :) How much of your wardrobe do they go with?

Flickering ember - thats terrible, how can they not give you enough to cover your rent? :(

Total spend £3.20 in Asda whilst waiting. Brought look magazine and some nail varnish remover pads, they are really great ones, Forever I used a bottle of remover and some toilet paper and it was always messy I don't like cotton wool, but these are great no cotton wool sounds :D no mess, fab.

The sophie kinsella books are fantastic :)

Hmm I do really like them... I'm going to think it over (and perhaps think about what I can sacrifice in order to keep them :o)

I'm really glad to hear that. Is there no way you can get any other help with your rent? I don't know much about these things so not sure how it works, but I can't imagine how stressed out it must make you feel.

Its great when you really love something, trying to scrape back the money to be able to justify them. A new experience for me too lol.
