  • Morocha, there are some lovely leather gladiator style wide fitting sandals in M&S, in pewter or bronze colours. I've just bought a pair yesterday as I have to have a wide fitting. They are really comfy, £29.50. Avoided Tesco today and went to Home bargains and Lidl so as not to be tempted with rubbish. Finding the on-line spending diary really useful. It's frightening though when you realsie how much you spend!

verynewmoneysaver, thanks for the tip but my local m&s is quite small so dont have many choices... will wait and see when i go to a bigger one.

velocity.girl, dont be to hard on yourself... i bet you can freeze the food then it wont go to waste and you wont need much next week. The fact that you are concerned about your spending and not just ignoring it says a lot.

Nglady, i never wore the Uggs, not real or fake ones... i am just not into them really.

Flickering Ember, what are you going to do, sorry for the situation you are in.

  • Morocha they do have the sandals on-line.
  • NSD for me today :j:j:j. Cant think when the last time was I had a one of them ?. I am going away to Leicester at the weekend on a spa break £145 one of my extravagant pre LBM, already paid for it. So all I have to pay is my share of the petrol and personal spends. Lunch and 2 treatments in the cost of the spa. I am setting a budget of £50 this includes my share of petrol.

    Thankyou :A

    Hi
I havent posted here before but I've been having a quick read thru the end of the thread and I agree with you Anglea, my aim too has to be to learn to deal with my feelings in a different way. But my fix is much more expensive if I feel down I phone a psychic line which can cost up to £30 plus for 20 mins. And then I feel so guilty. Last week after a whole week of moneysaving and cooking from scratch, I felt so knackered and fed up by Friday night that I ended up spending £53.50 on these Mystic bloody Megs. So in that hour I blew the whole weeks shopping budget plus our treats budget for this weekend. And my period had started, so I knew there was a real likelihood of doing it but at the point where I made the call, I didnt care. Can anyone else relate to this type of quick fix?

Don't phone psychic lines. Not only are they expensive, but they will tell you nothing you need to know.

Next time you get the urge, get on Google and look up articles about psychic fraud. Ask yourself whether you've ever genuinely made a good decision based soley on their advice.

They will tell you a) what you want to hear b) nothing your gut can't answer.

And if it helps, use the Demotivator on this here site!

    Well done Morocha :):)

God I'm so annoyed right now. I'm sure a tiny bit of my temp filling has come out (it has been in for 6-months as I've been waiting for specialist treatment) as I was in agony this afternoon, so I called the dentist and asked if they could see me asap. They gave me an appointment for tomorrow. Anyway the pain has gone now... and I'm feeling really guilty, like I'm going to be wasting their time tomorrow. I have my checkup soon anyway (10days) so not sure if I should cancel tomorrow or not? Wish I knew why I always feel like I'm wasting peoples time :o

Tomorrow after dentist (if I go) I'm going into town. I completely forgot that I ordered some stuff from Boots online a few weeks ago and said I'd collect it instore. It's all paid for, I just hope they still have it. Might also go to the library and see if they have the shopaholic books (are they any good???)
