haha i am getting into the hbit of taking things back too ! before i could not think of doing it.. now i think.. it is my money and i wont use it.. so return it !
BUT i am the worst one of all... i am taking something back that i bought in the charity shop, the boy told me if it didnt fit or like i can take it back... these are some clarks mid heels shoes in almost new condition... i paid £6 but they do feel unconfortable so iam taking them back , In the other hand, as it is charity i will not ask for a refund... i will choose something else, well that is what i think.. hopefully i will find something i like.
Nglady... my feet is really bad, that bad that if i do not use a really nice soft lining i get blisters... so no, i can not even use any of those.... I own a pair of Hush puppies , some other leather ones all from Clarks ( boots) and now i need some sandals cos i have a big event in April... but my oh will get them for me as a present.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -
Morocha its horrible isnt it, I see all other girls my sort of age going out in silly high heels but i have to settle with my old lady shoes and even then they hurt after about an hour lol. I would honestly pay good money for "perfect shoes" a pair of shoes which are styish fit amazingly and above all are comfortable alll nightLearning to be 'good with money'0

To be honest, they are the only things I wear during the colder months. I have 5 pairs at the moment. I read an article the other day though about the damage that non Ugg-Australia ugg-style boots do to you though...try and google the story as it was in some paper this week; I think it was the Mirror; I read it at the local cafe. All my Uggs are comfy and I walk about 6 miles a day in them; I never pay full price though; I always use ASOS/My-wardrobe.com codes so get them for about £130 a pair. Anyway...
Seriously broke and beginning to stress about money because I have to try and pay my overdue rent tomorrow and can't meet the full amount.0 -
Oh, maybe why mine hurt me I pay about £8 a pair for mine from George lol.
Oh dear :S any idea what your going to do? xLearning to be 'good with money'0 -
:mad::mad: argghhhhhhh :mad: so today is my day to pick my toddler up from school, as in laws do stuff on weds so i KNEW i was going to spend...I asked bloke to leave me a bit of cash but he forgot-NO biggie...
I worked out all my bills and money in my account and thought, it's ok i will be ok to use £20 from my account, i won't use all of it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:then before i left i checked my paypal card and realised i'd got £15 on that-BONUS!!!
so i walked to get my son and we went to the shops...realised i can't use my card at hsbc...it's a lloyds basic account, so i go into Somerfield and say to son, we'll just get some biscuits then i can get some cashback...well they had TONS of stuff reduced(freezer is now RAMMED) youngs x 2 salmon fillets for 70p instead of £4 that kind of thing...so ended up spending £25 including my £10 cashback.
went into charity shop brought 2x local history books =£1.50, a huge tonka truck for son-£1.50 and a pair of brand new EVANS jeans priced at £35 for £2.75:D
then went into newsagents and spent £10 off Paypal card on lottery ticket, 2 x comics and 3 x mags...
then £1.20 on the bus...for a mile up the road, my son is only 3 and it's his treat, and he hasn't used a pushchair for over a year.
When i fall of the waggon i don't do it by halves...i didn't NEED any of those things...honestly we have loads of food, i just wanted them because they were cheap and a bargain, i didn't need the jeans either...nor the magazines, or cakes...
i feel like sitting in a corner and crying...to be honest i'm crying and shaking as i type this...WHY DO I KEEP BEHAVING IN THIS WAY?
Lucky i've already cut up my credit card, i think i'm the only person for could blow x amount in one day in 5 local shopsHoping to of finally learned my lesson...slowly but surely0 -
It may feel like you've fallen off the waggon now in regards to buying all that food however if you look at it this way, do you budget X amount each month for food, as from the sound of it, so long as you've brought things you actually eat you've stocked your freezer up on the cheap so possibly next week you won't need to go shopping.
You may feel like you've spent a fortune, I did the other day. But think of the positives, you have realized how much you are spending, I can imagin it was still lots less than you would have spent a few months ago, and also, if you do feel really bad about the charity shop buy why not sell something on Ebay to make the money up?
Awww little boys love the bus, my nephew doesLearning to be 'good with money'0 -
That is a mega bargain CL
And buy one get one free on Sale items, shall have to pop into town, need a couple of gifts for people
Oooo on another note, im looking for a plain black polo shirt that i can wear like under dresses etc does anybody know where i could find one? I cant find one anywhere
Definitely not very MSE, but they have nice polo shirts in RepublicNot sure if they're what you're after, and they're pretty expensive... but they do fit nicely.
Speaking of returning things to charity shops... there was an old lady returning something to the charity shop today as she'd found a rip in it. The man behind the counter was sniggering at her and made her look bad. I felt really sorry for her.0
