Feeling much better tonight. Life does seem far more rich. Seeds came tonight for the allotment, and OH showed me how he has planned, what will go in the various beds. Bless him. Can't wait to start eating all this lovely food. Yum!

Thank-you. Had a better day. Basically switched off and spent most of the day thinking about which course to study. Hope you had good ones too. Yucky weather though. Bleugh!

Oh and only 7 more days to go to knock those totals down. Yay. I'm actually enjoying having time to read, not spending it browsing the internet for my next purchase all the time. Got some awesome free Eve Lom hand cream today, and they even sent sample facial cleanser and day cream with a mini muslin cloth. Always wanted to try that range and now I can spend this evening having a little bit of free luxury. Mmmm. Got friday off, so going to bake some nice butter biscuits with stuff we already have in the cupboard.

On that Eve Lom stuff, I found it a bit too rich and switched to the Liz Earle equivalent, which is much cheaper then EL and I thought better....but then one of my best thrifty discoveries EVER has been that there is a Tesco equivalent, in the bNatural range, which is incredibly similar to the LE one....in fact it is organic and has Soil Association accreditation, which LE doesn't ......and at about £4.50 a go and lasting about three months.... it's FABULOUS and I use it all the time.

Just offering that as a tip as the EL thing would be an expensive habit to get into......

Might give that one a go then. My toiletry cupboard tends to be really mixed, I'll have a chanel eye makeup remover-pricey at £17 but not greasy like all the others I've tried-cheap and expensive ones. Superdrugs equivalent to Clarins beauty flash balm was recommended by someone at work, so might give that a go too.
