  • Cheap chocolate shortbreads went down a treat, no-one suspected that they cost so little.

  • just had a read of your thread so far. you are doing well - so good luck to you. I don't know if you are interested but I also read these blogs each day and they are very inspiring and entertaining too https://www.thefrugalgirl.com and https://www.thenonconsumeradvocate.com Both quite inspiring in their own way when you feel you are slipping. Enjoy and have a happy no spend weekend.
  • Thanks Angela,

  • Grrrr Paypal!!!!

It is now 3 days since I added my bank details and no sign of the two mystery amount they put in there, so that you can complete the final stages of verifying your bank account. As I have auctions ending in 4 days, thought that I must have typed some detail in incorrectly. Removed bank account, and re-added it. Sorry but this account is already linked to another Paypal account.

No it isn't, I only have one Paypal account and I removed the bank details from it a minute ago. Ok, try louise the instant automated customer service rep. She doesn't work. Grrrr!

  • I know. Glad it isn't a pair of shoes I'm bothered about selling. Would just add insult to injury. Decided that I'm hanging onto my others, and will just learn to appreciate them a bit more, rather than living off the thrill of the chase of getting a new pair. I will literally be the old woman who lives in her shoes. Which reminds me. After cleaning, I'm going to dedicate this an SATC day. Onto season 4 at the mo. Not that I couldn't quote it line for line, I've just about worn out the DVDs.

Have arranged a special evening with my other crazy mad fan at work to go for a cocktail, pre SATC the movie two. Can't wait!!!

  • But must also look into making cheapy home made cleanser with cold camomile tea. Is that good for your face? I don't know, will have to do some internet searching.

  • What is SATC please? Sounds like it is something I have totally missed.
  • Many apologies for the acronym. Devoted Sex and the City fan.
