Right, organised chaos is what I have acheived!
If I don't look in or above the wardrobe and if I ignore the big box the hoover came in and the hanging rail in the corner... then I have the room just how I want it!
Next battle: the pile of paper work, which I think has expanded with the rain...
I'm contemplating taking a day, or evening a morning off to blitz the paperwork and do those things that are difficult to fit into a working day when you're out and about all over the place; like cancelling the subscription bank account, lovefil and that kind of thing.
However, right now my agenda is to get over to my friends for some macaronni and x-factor!
(So far it's been an NSD, let's hope it stays that way! I bought Minstrels yesterday just in case there's an emergency chocolate situation in the next few days. :rotfl:)Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

I do actually love it... every time I go home I try and make Jo (surrogate mother type) do a bit more decluttering or cleaning... she gets really annoyed with me! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: If it's still there in the new year Pyscho, I will take you up on that! I have been pestering my friend during x-factor add breaks... we've one free weekend between us before christmas where we reckon we can take our bulky carp to a car boot (that's the stuff on top of the wardrobe! Double blow up bed any-one?
).
We're just not sure whether the pair of us will be able to get up at silly o'clock to go for it!
Most of mine's clothes too, so might not do so well. My Miss Sixty boots sold for £18.10 on ebay yesterday but I've not received the money yet. And my walking jacket's about to go for a steal (I reckon it's too late on a Sunday night for a bidding war really. Boo!) But it'll be months before I ever see the corner of my room again if I keep up this pathetic rate!
Hmmmm, I see what you mean Psycho... perhaps I just need to be so much more ruthless!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Thanks Happy!
I need to figure out this posting malarky though! I didn't know an item could be too heavy for second class recorded! So I majorly lost out on my postage despite using the calculator thingy. I worked out that I actually got .88p for my jacket.
Which, when you add up the time, packaging, electricity, tediousness... it's self inflicted slave labour! That early morning stint at a car boot looks more inviting than it did yesterday (despite the lashing of rain hurtling down here right now!)
And clearly I drank too much tea at my friends last night as I was till awake at 4am. And subsequently slept in for my meeting this morning! Very professional!
Grumpy, grouchy Monday!
Food and Body Blance...
Dressmaking tomorrow though
. On my "proper" material.

I can't remember anything about my Green Metropolis account but I received an email form them saying I've sold one of my books!
I nearly fell off my big, comfy, impossible to fall out of, chair! They've been listed on there for eons and I was under the impression Green Met had delisted them because they hadn't sold.
Not complaining though... best go investigate...
Will keep you up to date with all the rest another time as it's been a long day and it's past curfew again!
Night all

My head is frazzled and there was stuff I was going to say about the last few days! Oh well!
Sent of the book for Green Metropolis. They give you £2 and it cost me £1.95 to send it second class... and it ruined my NSD!
It really does pay not to buy the carp in the first place, doesn't it!
How does that mantra go again?
Do I need it?
Will I use it?
Can I afford it?
I've adapted it to "no. No! NO!!" recently!
(Erm, apart from dressmaking. ...And the hairdresser's. ...And getting my legs waxed.
That's a yes, yes, oh yes! For the sake of my sanity
).
Today my student loan statement came through for my second degree. At long last it's the statement with how much I paid off last financial year. (You get one early on in the year, but my work has never sent off the info by then so it looks as though you've paid nothing and sends you into a mild tizzy!)
I've paid off £1123.00 and £30.89 interest has been added, leaving a grand total of £4031.23 - minus what I've paid from May onward I suppose (which will take that debt under the £4k mark :j) I'll pop to the website after this and check it out so I can keep my signature updated mre accurately... talking of which, I best go update it!
