Hi Lemon Tree :hello: I found out about e-blueys on the Brithish Forces Post Office site... I've sent a "tester" message 'cos I didn't know if I broke down my friend's "address" properly! I'll let you know if I hear back from him though. It'll save him from trying to read my scrawls if not from the mandanity of what I'm up to
. (Though I'll still need to get my hands on some envelopes - sometimes you just can't beat a bit of handwritten scrawl!
With The Verve in the background:
Bathroom blitzed (including floor mopped)
Washing on
Leek and Potato soup on
Kitchen, blitzed (floor not mopped - that'd be daft while soup is on the go!)
Second lot of washing on
Currently impatiently waiting on soup to cool down enough to eat without scalding my tongue and mulling over the dangers of hanging the washing up outside!!! (it's howling a gale and guanateed me hanging out the washing will entice the rain to come out and play!)
It occurred to me whilst dancing around the flat that, while the bank may not have sold me anything, they did effectively distract me of my primary objective of going in in the first place - which was to get rid of the overdraft on that account! D'oh! At least I had a cheque to put in while I was there, I suppose!
Ok, 15 minute break-time... think I'll change the music to the Super Furrys... or maybe Supergrass....Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Lunch - eaten
2 loads of washing out on line
3rd in machine
Living room blitzed (floor too)
Kitchen floor scrubbed (Hob still needs done but flat mate using kitchen - I've a wee triangular shaped kitchen; two folk need to be very cosy to be cooking at the same time and I'm not that fussed about my flatmate really :rotfl:)
Most of the washing back off the line
3rd load out on line
Ebay feedback left (stuff I bought for dressmaking)
Ebay item wrapped and ready for posting...
(Noticed while on ebay that it's free listening weekend, so a few things I want to start at more than 99p need to be added...)
Note - the bedroom is the room that really needs gutted as it's the one that I've been avoiding. And consequently is the place all the carp previously in the blitzed rooms ends up!
So the next few hours are crucial!!!
Had a bit if Super Furrys, a bit of Supergrass and a bit of John Lennon on the go... might stick with John a bit longer and then defect to some country (ooh, Johnny Cash...)
You can do this girl...
(PS Still an NSD too.)

you've certainly done much better than i have. The best i've done is plumb in my new dishwasher. Also got a load of washing out, it's gonna have to finish drying tomorrow but it's a good start. Got to figure something out for tea and i don't have a scooby.0

Hi Savingwannabe, hello and thank you
. There's no need to thank me, I didn't do anything I wouldn't normally be doing.
It was lovely to have you trollbusting with us. Pop in and say hello some time. :A
Lemon Tree, plumbing in the dishwasher is pretty good! It'll make everything so much easier once you've decided what to have tonight! Whereas I will need to blitz my kitchen again!
As suspected, the bedroom is my stumbling point! Just listed another thing on ebay instead!
Since I crammed everything into the wardrobe last week, I've nowhere to put everything else that's lying around! I think I need to go through the stuff that's crammed in the wardrobe and sort it into rubbish, charity shop, ebay and see if that helps. But I'm scared to open the wardrobe! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
( I'm being so very good at gutting my house today as I'm very awre I've not started any postgrad studying yet. I want everything sorted so I'm not worrying about it and can really get stuck into the studying. But a quick scan over my diary pretty much shows how good I am at procrastinating!)

Right, I've less than two hours to try and sort out the rest of this bedroom before I head to the hairdressers for a much needed cut and colour!
I don't want to still be dealing with the bedroom when I get back!
I want to sort out my filing. Which would mean I know where I am with the house and the paperwork and will mean I can get down to the postgrad study! (I have a wee nervous feeling whenever I think of it - I know it's just 'cos I've not started yet.)
Razorlight is helping me on my way this morning
(My eyes are still agonyAntibiotis eyedrops are not working! I'm fed up with it! Sticky, red raw eyes are notthe look I want to be sporting! Harrumph!)

The bedroom is even toughter than I thought!
The "ebay" side of the wardrobe is a bit more organised (by which I mean I'm not going to collapse under a heap of stuff if I dare to open the doors!). There's another box of stuff packed, half a bag for the charity shop, half a bag for the clothes bins at recycling, a bag of old make-up amd toiletrie for the bin and I've hoovered around the chaos left still lying in a vain attempt to get rid of some of the dust!
My eyes feel like some-one is crumbling hot pokers into them and the grit is remaining in there smoldering. My nose isn't fairing much better!
I've been assuming my fringe has been making my eyes worse. After today (getting it cut), I'll assume it's the dust until this bedroom is clear.
If they are still bad after that then I need a new pair!
I'm getting grumpy so I'm going to leave the room and have a shower and some lunch (probably not together; that'd water down the soup a bit much for my liking).

Helllo
. I'm not really here! I'm not allowed to be here after 10pm from now on!
I need to sort out my sleeping patterns. And if I was in work mode, I'd be insisting structure and routine was put in place and that whatever help was needed was given to allow that structure and routine to become absolute!
So back to basics... I need a bedtime routine! I have one in mind and it involves pampering; exfoliation, nails, cleansing, toning, moisturising... that kind of thing - "me time". 10pm is bedroom time and I can do any of the above. (And not, as I am currently doing, sitting on the laptop wondering why I'm so tired and worrying if I'll be late for that meeting in the morning...!!!)
There was other stuff I wanted to say, but I've already turned into a pumpkin, which makes typing a bit difficult. :rotfl:
(PS I've told the universe of my plan therefore it must become so!)
