I reckon we need to give it a few weeks so Psycho can concentrate on studying for a couple of wee questions she has to answer and we can't be implicated in any procrastination techniques she may have learned!.

Name your challenge Psycho and we can get down to it... in a couple of weeks
.
Ok, dinner done, kitchen cleaned, washing machine finished... now stting down and not wanting to hang said washing up!
Found a shoe box full of receipts that I never quite put into my spending diary so going to totally freak myself out and put them in the 'puter and work out where my money has been going over the summer!
Once I've made a cuppa.

Don't know about reach for the stars, I can't even force myself to reach for a blooming duster!
A pact or challenge sounds like a pretty good idea in theory!
If I learn speed reading first, I'm likely to forget, brain is so muddled that I visit the bathroom for a pee, forget to pee but brush my teeth instead.
If I try memory mapping first, I'll be lost amongst all the piles of washing and paperwork etc.
How 'bout, psycho learn memory mapping as it'll help with her exams and she can teach us after.
I'll somehow locate flyladys thread and take notes to help with the 15min thingy
Nic...continue with dressmaking and teach us with the spare time we'll all have
Calenders full for the next two weeks for me so as I'm already behind, I'd best get started.

Ok, ok, I know... I'll rustle us all up wonder women outfits and we can just pretend that's exactly what we are. And if we get fed up pretending, at least we're sorted for Halloween parties. :rotfl:Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Nicca an idea, i hope you didnt do the shoebox recipts ? if you did ignore this
Dont do them shred them fresh page fresh start and begin a winter challenge draw a line under said spends looking at what you spent will only make you guilty and self justify and maybe even spend more out of guilt whats done is done we live once the key is we keep coming back and doing what we do best trying to find a new way to get on with clearing them numbers... so pick a start date and anything before that date shread clear file, refocus on whats outstanding whats to be paid do a jar systems have a play account budget some money to enjoy things because the more you deprive the more you overspend as do i lol lol im pretty clued into that now i just need to perfect my jar system
Try the 15 minutes task and start organsisng so study course can be clear concise and doable and enjoyable excuse spellings
Its time we learned to love our enthusiasm and target setting and stop looking at what we havent done yet and focus on something that we will definatley do... so for you nicca thats study prep and sorting the jar system that means setting a budget at what you need each month to meet payments ( this is housey fuely and foods and necessry clothes) whats left, i want you to split it 3 ways play money( this is for hair beauty clothes you can spend every month no guilt or every 3 months but it has to be spent its your feel good enjoy budget) emergency money ( housey stuff) debt money ( choose a choice of debt you want paid)
Im trying to use the t harv eker system for you but listen to the audio xx be good big hugs xxI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. That is a perfect idea Happy.... no point in dwelling on what's been. I'm feeling annoyed at the moment as I paid off my first credit card a few months ago but what with moving and stuff I've maxed it out again. This time I'm concentrating on smaller ones, so I feel like I'm getting somewhere and I don't keep spending what I've paid off!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16

Did she do them already? :rotfl:(I think she was probably most likely too busy on the 'puter till ummm 2am!) I'm sure I stumbled across something sounding very much like her today when I took a break from my 15 min thingy that's umm......still in the planning stages! :rotfl:

 Wise words young one, and bloody good ideas too!:T Happy you're a real big bundle of positivity, inspiration, energy and plans today. We're waaay behind in our reading so I think we may need you to lead us for a while, hopefully it'll free up valuable study time for Nic and Psycho & I'll be relying on you to get my a55 in gear and do something, anything productive with mine.psychopathbabble wrote: »That is a perfect idea Happy.... no point in dwelling on what's been.
More wise words from another young one and something we can all relate to in one way or another.
I'm feeling annoyed at the moment as I paid off my first credit card a few months ago but what with moving and stuff I've maxed it out again. This time I'm concentrating on smaller ones, so I feel like I'm getting somewhere and I don't keep spending what I've paid off!
Makes a lot of sense hun, lots of little ones all amount to the same but imagine how many times you'll be able to celebrate your success as each one clears. (I'd always go for the smaller ones first and the cash freed up from payments on them can start taking a bigger bite out of your bigger challenge)
Remember to try Happys advice and try to allow some for you, your reward for the effort and enjoy each treat without guilt. :T
Stay positive girlies and I hope you all enjoy your weekend!

Happy honey, you're a genius!
SB*, are you spying on me?
Yes the receipts are still in a shoe box. No they've not been touched!
Yes, you're absolutley right, I need to concentrate on sorting out soome good space and energy for my course!
Psycho, whatever would we do without them [STRIKE]harrassing us[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]keeping us right [/STRIKE] supporting and encouraging us!
This weekend my diary is clear! My cold will be gone. And the bl**dy conjuctivitis better be too.
Tomorrow ( later today) is the induction day for the post grad.
And the 1st of the month.
So what better time to score a line through summer and embrace the new (autumnal) me!
This weekend will be the start of the next chapter!
(Do remind me of that if it slips from my to do (with enthusiasm) list
Thank you Happy :AJan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55
