It's in Dumfries and Galloway, just over on the Scottish side of the border. Not far from a wee village called Eskdailmuir.

It doesn't look like that in the rain I can tell you! But still pretty impressive.

Especially good when you need reminding that you're actually fairly sane in the grand scheme of things ;).

I know I should be telling you all about my debt busting... but, look what I bought
    Picture+8.png

On a groupon offer! Not at the normal RPR of £95!  . I got mine for £35. I'm so excited. (For those of you that are not already aware; I feel the cold! A lot! I've wanted on of these for, well, since I first spied them, well over a year ago.) It'll be fab in the carer's room at my second job - and is the perfect excuse to go to a festival in the summer :D.

Hey Maty! How on earth do you manage to be awake enough to type at that time in the morning?! :D

It's a wearable sleeping bag. (Exactly what I need. I currently have 5 tops on and two of them are woolly. And the heating's on. But the snow hasn't even reached Glasgow yet, so I don't know how I'll cope when it does!) Very sexy, don't you think? ;)

I've had a cracking headache for the last few days. I think it's my tablets. The doc gave me a row for not remembering to take them properly so I've renewed my efforts and am concentrating on remembering. So it's either the tablets or the concentration! Bl**dy hurts though so I hope it passes soon!

I can't find my pay cheque for my second job. :( Usually when I do things like that, I can visualise where I last put had it and it'll come to me. But I can't for the life of my think where it is. Not happy! :( I'm mostly worried it's been in my bag and fallen out outside of the house. If it's in the flat, it'll turn up somewhere. :(

On the plus side, it isn't the cheque from Inland Revenue that I've lost! That would make me cry! This makes me kick myself in frustration for being so ridiculously stupid!

Have to be on the road at 7.30 every morning to do battle with the M25 and don't function without 30 minutes on the sofa cuddling my tea & catching up on here before I have to go and face the shower :(

Love the walking sleeping bag, it looks like a lovely cozy grow bag but is yours really bright yellow????

The secret to taking tablets on time is to set alarms on your mobile. Or if it is only one tablet a day take it as you switch the bedside light on at bedtime. Works for me :D

Grrr to losing cheques. If it doesn't show up can you get them to re-issue - don't leave it too long in case it has fallen in to the wrong hands and someone has managed to bank it. And in future put it straight in to the back of your wallet un til you are ready to bank it - or get them to pay you directly in to the bank.

Oh gawd better stop, I am sounding like your mother :(

Oh Maty, I really don't envy you that battle every morning! I'd probably fall back asleep on the sofa and spill my tea everywhere!

No, mine isn't yellow! Phew! It's blue. :) Yellow would be handy if you are intending slleping on the side of a mountain or something but if it's just becasue you are a big wuss like me, then it's a bit bright. :rotfl:

The cheque is from my second job and he's pays us by cheque payable as cash. He's in hospital at the moment so not said anything as he's been pretty ill. It should be ok though as we can only cash in in a specific branch and we need ID to do so (and I always put mine straight into my account). I'm still hopeful it's amongst various piles of papers in my room, but it's still AWOL at the moment :(.

Think I'll try a reminder on my phone for the tablets! I'm usually ok for a couple of weeks or so then I kinda go off a bit and it becomes sporadic! :o

Must go to bed now! (I was in the library until late so needed to wind down. Don't feel it was a particularly successful study time - but more so than the flat!)

I need to get rid of enough debt that I don't need my lodger!!!! He's swearing at his computer and hitting the desk and it's quarter past one in the morning! I want to go into his room and swear and throw the bl**dy computer out the window! I guess that's one way of getting him to leave! :p My neighbour's bedroom is next to his; I'm surprised they haven't complained. :(
