Tixy, she got it in Thailand, so I doubt I'll bump into any-one else wearing it :D.

I love the site, though a few of my friends think it's a bit dodgy. I can't see that it's any more dodgy than ebay to be honest. As long as you're canny and watch who you are swapping/selling with, I'm sure it's fine. Every-one I've met and swapped with so far has been lovely and very helpful.

I am one for trusting my intuition though, so if it doesn't feel right (or if some-one is rude), I'd walk away however gorgeous the item!

Got loads of shoes to add today. Particularly sad to add my soft brown leather Miss Sixty boots... but I wear them about twice a year if you are lucky! And I have loads of knee high boots. And heels. And trainers. And pumps. And sandals... :o Just how many pairs of shoes does a girl need?

There is no limit - I refuse to believe there is. Never enough boots in the world. Hmmm Miss Sixty boots hey - what size are you??;)

  • I used it a couple of years ago and it was rife of people sending stuff off and not receiving theirs from the swap partner :( Never happened to me fortunately, but I went back to ebaying instead as I was doing the whole swap for something I didn't really want thing cos I found it hard to say no:o
I think they've improved things loads now with the new security features though.

The dress is gorgeous, hope it fits you and you don't have to send it back. Such a bargain!!

They're 36, wedges, you need to wiggle you're feet into them... I'll upload a piccie in a mo... (if they'll fit you, you can have first refusal ;))

That's exactly what I'm worried about!!! I'm wondering if I should ebay too to get the best of both worlds! But I've never sold anything on ebay so I'm a bit wary.

I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before I come across a swaplifter! I'm holding off adding my more expensive stuff until I've more feedback for that reason. But they'd maybe be better on ebay.

(I think I have a mental block when it comes to selling on ebay.)

Hmm, maybe I won't upload a piccie after all! I never get it right when I'm trying to upload from my computer files!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:If it does, you'll get all the nonsense I've downloaded (probably several times over as I tried to figure it out!), mostly to clutter up various threads! Though think there may be several photos of my friend's fabulous hot pink heels! WHich should now be mine through default as I'm sure I've worn them more than she has ;) :rotfl:.

Ooo 36 is too small for me - I need a 37-38 (and whilst I've crammed my feet into some smaller sandals I don't think it would work for them). Nice boots though.
I agree about the default ownership just cos you've worn them sandals most - a friend did that to me with my leather jacket! and some earrings come to think of it.
Presumably I can sign up and nosey through everything thats on offer before I upload my own swaps?

  • I'm probably a bit too careful selling on ebay will only post to UK, people with no paypal acc can't bid, buyers with 2 unpaid strikes in 1 month, but I can't be doing with the hassle of relisting etc... cos someone doesn't pay or it hasn't turned up in the post in Timbuktu.

You could say have stuff listed on BW for Xweeks then if it doesn't shift put it on ebay?

Gawjus boots, wonder if they'd fit me...? Do I really need toes?

Tixy, you can sign up for free and have a nose about. You can keep to that and only do 1 swap a month. But if you wanted to do more swaps a month or sell as well, it's £12 for a years' membership.

The boots are fab, but 'cos you need to wiggle into them, there have been a few time where I thought I was gonna have to live in them for ever more :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Usually when there might have been a bit of alcohol involved ;).
