Last night I unpicked all the stitching up one side of a lovely spotty dress I've got... but it's too A-line and floaty for my liking. One of those ones that make you look pregnant even when you're as tiny as I am!
But now I've done that, I'm too scared to cut it in case I ruin it. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Like I haven't already done that by unpicking all the stitching. Hmmm, time to flick through my Sew magazines for inspiration!

My friend's facebook status says the situation with the youth group has been well and truly resolved :j:j.
Just after 3pm isn't the best time to call her (Friday is swimming for the kiddies and the older one is sick) so I don't konw the details yet... (and I'm dying to know!)
But a big huge thank you to all of you who signed the petition and offered your support for my friend. Your support is hugely appreciated!(And when Ifond out more details, of course I'll share them!)

Mum and Dad's oldest dog has gone to chase bunny rabbits in the sky. He was 12 and we knew he was getting near, but it won't be the same without him
:(:(:( The younger one is all lost and not wanting his tea. Poor doggily wogs. I think I'll have to go visit my friend and give his dog a massive big cuddle and cry into her fluffy fur. I love my doggily wogs.

The one lying down is Maxi Pax (Max) and the one looking for food is Digs (Digger). Maxi was the oldest and always got Digger into trouble. When Digger was a puppy, we thought he was a right little mischief-maker, always pulling clothes of their hooks, eating things out of the bin and chewing up slippers... then Dad came in the back door one day to find Digger lying have puppy dreams, quite the thing. And Maxi sneaking about downstairs creating havoc :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Maxi was always the one that could steal cheese pastys and lamb shanks while they were cooling on the worktop too. Digger was always too "glaikit"! (Scottish word meaning not very bright.)
I do love my doggily wogs. I'm sad in a melancholy way. I know it's better for Maxi Pax, and I know he'll be in his element chasing bunny rabbits as though he were a puppy again. But I want to turn back time and have him as a puppy again.

Nic thats v. sad news. Tis horrible when they move on. I've only ever seen OH cry once and that was when the predecessor to hairball no. 1 passed on aged 17. Hairball no. 1 is now 15 hence the aqusition of a puppy both for company and because shes going deaf and doesn't give him the peace of mind he needs whilst hes away. Puppy is indeed mischevious (aren't they all) but v. lovely and v. v. lively but mostly v.v.v. pooey.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Awww, thanks guys! Lemon Tree, keep saving those 10ps, they'll be well worth it one day
. And by then moo2moo will have written a book on how to clean up poo on automatic pilot at 4.47am when you are still actually asleep
.
I think Dad has been trying to persuade mum to get another puppy for months but mum's less keen. She says it's because it wouldn't be fair on Digger but I suspect it's because she doesn't want to do the poo thing again! And a puppy might ruin her new kitchen :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
This will probably sound a bit mad, but when I was thinking about it yesterday, I had a really weird dream in the morning, all I remeber is that I was hugging my nana really tightly and we were both crying. And that would be about the time mum took the dogs out. Nana passed away years ago when I was in high school and when I woke up I knew I'd been crying in my sleep. At the time I just thought, wow, that was odd, where did that come from!
Now I'm being all sentimental (instead of my usual cynical, skeptical self!) and wondering if nana knew!(I remember once going to a psychic years ago, one where you sit as an audience and they "call the spirits" or whatever it is they do :rotfl: :rotfl:... well I soon stopped laughing when he said my nana's name and goose pimples ran right through me! No - I absolutely did not let on, I was far too terrified! Ghosty things terrify the life out of me
) But the thought that nana is looking out for me fills me with calm
. So I guess I can be fickle about it

By the way, have you taken your MSE obbsession too far when, at 9.30 am on a Saturday morning, you find yourself dividing a 4 pint carton of milk from the whoopsie shelf into 4 seperate pints to freeze?Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55
