By the way, have you taken your MSE obbsession too far when, at 9.30 am on a Saturday morning, you find yourself dividing a 4 pint carton of milk from the whoopsie shelf into 4 seperate pints to freeze?
Absolutely not. You're only taking it too far when you buy 2 or more 4 pinters to divide knowing full well that you have neither the freezer space nor the continers to divide them into but still buy them because you will get them in there even if it means spending 30 minutes rearranging the contents of the freezer in order to do this.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Now who would do a silly thing like that? :rotfl:
I have been a very good and a very brave girl. I have actualy put my gym gear on and made it to the gym today (though I was concerned that there was an ambulance there as I arrived! A bit presumptuous, I thought!).
And I phoned o2 (I hate making phone calls!) to find out what deals they could offer me. I'm currently on the £15 Simplicity deal and get broadband at £7.50 too... but my phone is majorly playing up; it won't call people if it desides it doesn't like tham and they think I'm making funny phone calls; it doesn't pass on any messages even when people do leave them and not it's vetting which text messages I do and do not recieve, or it's sending me really old ones just to confuse the h*ll out of me! Like I need help being confused!
I got bored on hold but stuck with it (you'd think they'd answer the "yes I want to leave" calls a bit quicker; if I'd have been resolute, that wait would have confirmed my intentions! But then I'm such a wuss on the phone that I got all confuzzled and she put me through to upgrades. They only offered me the poxy internet deal at £32.50 a month but they credit your account with £180 so it's actually only £25 a month. But what's the point of having £180 worth of credit on a contract phone? Ans I refuse to pay £32.50 a month!
The problem is, you, although I need a new phone, I want a blackberry. I am justifying this to myself as a few of my friends and my mum have blackberry's so we'd apparently get free blackberry to blackberry text, regardless of the networks we are on. And they are the same people that are responsible for my text message addiction, so it's make sense.
Anyhoo, T-mobile do a deal for £15 per month (but I can't get the phone in purple) so I might actually leave o2 . I think I've been with them for about 9 years!
The only thing stopping me is broadband, as I have that with them and it's got up by a fiver. £12.50 might not be a lot, but I know I can get it cheaper... but I don't know if I want the hassle of changing broadband provider!
So I'm completely and utterly undecided! Every time my phone misbehaves, I a yes girl, every time I am on the internet, I panic and become a no girl! The possibility of no internet . Unthinkable!
(Oh and 2 of my clothes swaps came through this morning. One of the lovely girls even gave me some freebie lipstick and a wee Molton Brown body lotion :A. Lovley new free clothes:j)

I'm a dinosaur as far as mobiles phones go. The idea of paying £25 a month horrifies me, thats roughly two years worth of calls, probably more like three.
However as I'm bored and you have your heart set on a Blackberry have you considered Orange. The Dolphin promotion is 300 mins and all inclusive everything else for £22.50 a month over 24 months but you'd get £80 cashback from Quidco and 2 for 1 cinema thingies on Wednesdays. Thats still £460 for a phone though. You can buy the phone as a pay as you go from T-mobile for £150 or via Play you can buy a refurbished unlocked handset for £100 and stick any sim you like in it. I guess it all depends how much you use it as to what works for you.
If you read the small print on the T-mobile £15 offer you'll discover they very nicely require you to spend an additional £5 each month in order to use the Blackberrys features so they'll actually sting you for £20 a month.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

 Hmmm, thank you moo2moo and anonymoose! I think I need to look into it more! And be a very good MSE girl and put it on the backburner for a month to see if I actually really do need it!
£22.50 still seems an awful lot! The only reason I went up to £15 in the first place was to get cheaper broadband and I figured the extra fiver would be better spent on more minutes and texts. I's rather still be on £10 pm.
I usually buy second hand handsets on ebay but you can never be certain how well they'll work!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

I've not bought a phone from CEX before but they seem to rate them by mint, good, poor conditon and with it being a shop you should have more come back if there was a problem?!Proud to be dealing with my debts - LBM Mar 2010

Thanks Anonymoose, will have a look at that site in more detail later (off to gym - maybe! Then to visit pregnant friend).
I could get an old stylee blackberry for cheap, still get free cross messages with my friends and mum, and I could exchange my current petulant phone. And phone o2 back and get the £10 pm contract (I don't want to be tied to a contract but it's a bit of a moot point really when I 've been woth o2 since 2001 :rotfl:). WHich is much cheaper and more sensible. And means I get what I need and a little bit of what I want. Cheaper than contracts and ebay. Can't say fairer than that!
Cheers guys - what would I do without you all?:T

Quick, call the emergency doctor... I think I have serious, delirious fever!
Not only have I been to Body Balance (ouch - do you feel that work!), but I also postponed my mystery shops until tomorrow as I'm heading into the city centre then anyway, so I'm hoping for another NSD today.
... but, by far, the most worrying symptoms are washing many, many clothes and (I hope you are sitting down right now!) ironing them!
It's serious! And very contagious! I only found out what ironing was yesterday, from Spoon. So she's got the same illness! I do hope you have some cures handy....
All in the name of swapping/selling clothes...Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55
