Yeah, dunno why I'm getting in such a strop over a 24 month contract given I've stuck with o2 for the past nine years . And I've always bought myself phones from ebay or wherever, they've never offered me much as I'm not a high spender.

Called them just now and they can't match Orange (I did mention Orange were given £160 cashback, I didn't mention this was through Quidco), so my PAC code will be winging its way to me in the next 24 hours. And it'll be bye bye o2!

Well, apart from braodband... but then, as soon as I find a good broadband deal for less than £12.50 that's not o2... I'm not loyal! At least, not as a consumer!

I might even wander back to Quidco and order my new phone before I head off to the Safari Park with my friend and her kiddies! (I've been up since quarter to 6, I'm not sure how I'll cope with a day at the safari park, but I'm a big effalump freak, so as long as there's an effalump to keep me happy, it should be ok!)

Moo - thank you for both being my conscience and for finding the best deal in anticipation of me ignoring my conscience ;) :A.

We get our broadband through Orange too, I think it's about £10p/month but that's done on OH's account & not sure how long his been with them for? (7 years +)
    It's pretty reliable though :)

;)Excellent, I did notice Orange did broadband too - it's good to know it's reliable. I may just defect completly :). And I'll have my Balckberry by Wednesday night :D.

Today I have mostly been sleeping after spending the previous 24 hours awake! Had great fun at the Safari Park - albeit I was frozen! And by far my 2 favourite things were my friend's picnic and the donuts they sell there!!! (I aso got there early so when I paid to go in - with a student discount :p - it was just me as my friend was still on the road. I could see the girl looking at me oddly - why had this women come to the safari park herself and forgotten to bring the children? :rotfl:)

Then I had to rush home to get to a night out I'd arranged! I was supposedly meeting folks at half 6... I got home at twenty past! But as it was an early birthday celebration for me, no-one gave me a row for being late! (To be fair, they're probably used to it - I'm just surprised they were all on time!)

Wagamama's does a fantastic veggie curry! Even nicer when your friend's won't let you pay! Then we were hoping to see a band as part of the jazz festival, but the tickets had sold out so we just had to make do with a few drinks and a night of dancing to britpop music :D (I felt very old out dancing - all the children there surely couldn't have been old enough to be out that late on their own? ;) :rotfl:)

All in all a fab and cheap night out. :) And my first NSD of the month as today I have mostly been catching up on much needed sleep!

Ooh, thank you Anonymoose. That's even cheaper than o2! I think I'll wait until my lodger has finished uni for the year and then go fo it!

Went to go to body balance today but forgot me car was at my friend's house... walked to the gym instead, then went to get the car. My abs are killing me! And I missed out the biceps exercise. Why is it there are always a group of guys around that machine comparing their, quite frankly, not that impressive biceps? Honestly. If their arms looked that good, I would not have got fed up waiting on the machine ;).

Hoping for an NSD today but don't want to talk too soon!

2 more sleeps until shiny new phone :D.

Ok, it's that time of the month... N Rock should now have reduced by £27 something, RBS has reduced by another £288.05 :j and SLCs 1 & 2 by £109 and £101 respectively....

I am beginning to realise though, that I don't really keep to my budget at all... really its there because I like having it as a safety net, but it's what I think I ought to be spending or what I want to be spending... it's not really what I am spending!

I know this as there are receipts all over the place that I am again ignoring adding to the spending diary :o.

I keep meaning to do a weekly budget with spending diary and meal planning... but always find something else to do (there are many diaries one can peruse when you need to procrastinate!)

Just sticking in this here linky to peruse when it's not half one in the morning! A price comparison site for the worth of my old phone... apparently it is still working if it turns on and off. Does that technically mean that if I neglect to mention it's petulant tendencies, I'm not being morally mean!?
