If there's no shampoo I might ring and ask for a refund - does anyone know if they would refund me the full amount as it hasn't actually been despatched yet?

Perranlady - that seems to be the case with most people looking at the posts on here. I don't think the guy really knew what he was talking about, I knew I shouldn't have gone mad and brought 5 sets, does conditioner have a BBF date on it???

Called and spoke to a customer service person who was polite but not overly helpful I would say, telling me if I wish to cancel I could. I said that I understood some folk were disappointed in the selection they received and could she tell me what I'd get since delivery isn't until next week. To cut a long story short her 'products manager' said I'd receive 2 shampoos and 2 conditioners in each pack. Wouldn't pass me through but said that I would reluctantly accept that but pointed out the review did say 2 other smaller items. She didn't really have an answer to that!0

Im (planning on) saying
I purchased XXX off your website....as you had not outlined what was in each pack I took the description by the only review you have allowed to be published on your website that claims the pack contains;
Full size (250ml) shampoos and coditioners (x2 of each), spray in conditioner and travel size conditioner. What a fantastic bargain!!
I have now recieved my boxes and Im shocked to see this is not what I have got in my box
((note nowhere in the item description posted in the 1st post (in OP) does it mention the '6 of the following items' thing))
If they say it said the '6 of the following' thing, I claim it didnt (because on that screen it didnt)
Go on to say that I relied on the description given by the previous buyer when deciding to purchase the item....and as the product is not as described it is against both Office of Fair Trading guidelines with regards to false advertisement and Sales of Goods Act (s13) sale by description. Regardless of what they say they HAVE neglected to remove the misleading review OR add to the description that the contents may vary (which I am yet to find out if my 9 boxes do vary at all!!!! If they dont then its doubtful they are random!)
If they suggest I post them back at my cost then Ill refuse saying that would cost me money for their false, misleading advertisement
Will consider telling them to arrange a courier for it (hoping they see the logic that it will cost them more in hassle and courier than to just refund me or gimme my shampoo!!!!!!!)
then see what they say
main arguments: false advertising (OFT) and mis selling by description (SOGA S13) as they have left the misleading review on the item and not informed the buyer contents may vary (on that page)

and in the event I get a moody person I will be asking for a direct email to their manager and the general complaints department and will be writing the above in an email

The tracking number shows my delivery is out to be delivered so should be here before 7...so we shall see :j0 -
Lil tiger the photograph also shows 1 shampoo (full size) 1 conditioner (full size) and a treatment spray which is of more use as a pack than a selection of conditioner and erm more conditioner. I don't mind not getting 7 products per pack, but a selection of items that can be used alongside one another would be useful.0
