ok so I recieved mine....all contained 2 large conditioners, small conditioner, 2 small shampoos and the shine spray thing....giving them a ring...wish me luck!!!!

I hadn't heard back so just rang again, and was told that I will receive a reply today but not sure what time, she resent the message to the product manager.0 -
aaarrrghhhhh just called them.....quoted the SOGA and she went away, came back and just went 'errrrr well how do you suggest we resolve the situation?'
this is where it went wrong......I suggested they resend me some full sets by way of compensation...she said she will arrange a courier to pick these ones up and then send some (other type of pack) out
That doesnt help me as I dont want the other packs, if I wanted the other packs I would have ordered them
I have a number if I want to use the courier arranged to 'swap' them...but I am going to email the customer service dept and see if it can be resolved
extra problems now:
1. they tried fobbing me off that the pic is for illustrative purposes only (NOT STATED)
2. I asked to speak to the manager....it didnt happen, I just had reports of what 'they' said
3. I was in no way offered anything by the way of compensation for having to sort out what should have been done already

OK....I have sent my 'angry email' both as an 'enote' and to their complaints dept.
If anyone wants to 'borrow' my email then ask via pm (would rather not post in the thread so it doesnt turn so generic)

I asked about that....they told me (different to the other member who got told they make the sets up themselves) that Ebuyer just get the sets in, they dont sell them....they just repack them (into the bigger boxes) and send them back out......so they said they dont have the individual shampoo to send me....and they werent willing to take the shampoo out of a different type of box because then they will be left with incomplete boxes :eek: lol
That was me. Mmm now I'm thinking why would they get 'sets' in that are not all the same? Its not looking good on their part, ebayers selling the exact same 'sets' with a selection of products, strangely the same selection as earlier members here received. Given the offer those ebayers probably bought them from ebuyer too. I am inclined to believe the lady I spoke to because she explained the packaging isn't a gift box, that they make the boxes up then package them into outer packaging, she sounded honest and had absolutely no idea what I was waffling on about when I was asking her and she had said about her own purchase before xmas so she knew the set I was referring to.
And how about this, I cancelled my order which I was told was being packed 'in a day or so' ordered and paid via paypal a couple of days ago. I placed my new order under dh's name (i cant get onto my ebuyer account and locked the password) and paid by card, I already have a tracking number for UPS!0 -
hi, just ordered mine and got 20% discount on postage when i picked the 5 day delivery choice. not in a rush - might as well save a few £'ss.

Regarding how the sets are made, the man I spoke to earlier said that there is no guarantee what you get because the sets are already pre-packaged before they get them. In other words, they also don't know what is in the packs.
If that's true, it isn't very good that they don't even know what they are selling!0 -
you got to laugh at how and when they are sending orders out.
i ordered some on tuesday and paid by paypal and it just says payment received.
i ordered some for my mate on my account at 5pm today and got a dispatch email at 7pm and i paid by debit card.
just hope i get something worth having now0
