That was me. Mmm now I'm thinking why would they get 'sets' in that are not all the same? Its not looking good on their part, ebayers selling the exact same 'sets' with a selection of products, strangely the same selection as earlier members here received. Given the offer those ebayers probably bought them from ebuyer too. I am inclined to believe the lady I spoke to because she explained the packaging isn't a gift box, that they make the boxes up then package them into outer packaging, she sounded honest and had absolutely no idea what I was waffling on about when I was asking her and she had said about her own purchase before xmas so she knew the set I was referring to.

And how about this, I cancelled my order which I was told was being packed 'in a day or so' ordered and paid via paypal a couple of days ago. I placed my new order under dh's name (i cant get onto my ebuyer account and locked the password) and paid by card, I already have a tracking number for UPS!
To be fair the person I spoke to sounded like she didnt have a clue, although I wouldnt like to take a complaint from myself.....I do tend to reel off a load of true and appliccable stuff that they really cant argue with (unless in some cases they are trained up in law and I havent come across that yet!)

  • Got mine today (only ordered on Tues and picked the supersaver postage :) Really pleased. Ordered the Ultimate Shine and Colour ones (2 of each) and although it would have been nice have the shampoos, am more than happy with what I got, I have 8 bottles of large conditioner which will last me an age, and some cool travel size ones which will be perfect for my holiday . Thanks OP :)

Ok, just had a panicked call from my friend who bought 4 of these yesterday (after my recommendation :o) saying she received them today by UPS. She ordered 4 Ultimate shine sets. Her packs contained shine spray Which she says is amazing by the way?), 2 mini shampoos, mini conditioner and 2 large conditioners. As you can imagine she's not best pleased but she's also not a moaner so I told her I'd get on to CS for her.
So, just off the phone to Ebuyer who on the face of it seemed absolutely fabulous. I told the girl that all the sets appeared to be missing 2 large shampoos. She asked me to hold on, then came back on to say how sorry she was about the mistake and that she would send out 8 large size bottles of shampoo to arrive by UPS tomorrow.
So, we shall see if they arrive. After reading all the posts I have my doubts.
Will keep everyone posted. I don't know if it's just my Glaswegian accent but I never have any bother with CS!

wow that sounds like such an easy transfer...although I have been informed from a customer service (telephone) person, a manager in the call centre and representative from the complaints dept that they dont have any singular bottles to send out.....
hope theyre telling me porkies though and you get yours :j

((my next reply of email should be tomorrow from a product manager....escalated my claim/issue this afternoon....))

My friend just called, she has a dispatch email from ebuyer, but it doesn't say what they've dispatched.
    Hmm, the plot thickens!

  • thought i would give you a review of the ultimate product and i have to admit its not anything special....i tried doing the traditional method of shampooing and rinsing x2 before combing some generous conditioner through my hair and was disapointed that my usual 'pantene' size blob was not enough to get it to the ends and had to use more...compared to pantene its definately inferior in my opinion...and my hair is no shinier then normal though i didnt use the glossing spray so not too impressed with this so called bargain after all...no offense to the op but this deal turnt out too good to be true after all.

I contacted them through their eNote (email) system as I believed that the value of my goods came to £20 at a push (based on rrp of each product currently on sale at boots).
They said that each set would differ and the value of each set "could be up to a value of £25.

Surely this is misleading as the site clearly says each set will be worth £25?
