Evening chaps, just a quickie as Gok Wan is on in two and I
him!
job is going super duper well, in fact I've kinda already been offered a promotion, yup thats right after THREE WEEKS I'm going to be starting more work (once I get back from my hols) and getting more money for it. It's 'only' another 1k on top of what I now make but thats a heck of a raise after three weeks! Am really pleased with that, I seem to be storming through the work I'm given with little to no problems so bonus!
As any of you that keep an eye on the daily spends thread will know int he past two days I've spent £63 on Dior make up. In my defence it was paid cash (well switch) and it's not gotten me into any debt. It's also the only designer make up I own (unless you count no7) and I did get two £5 off vouchers and a Dior weekend bag and heaps of samples.... yeah you're right, no excuse!
Well I've come up with a plan. I am going to quidco myself to death and make back that money and any more I get will also go towards fancy make up, well I'm worth it! :rotfl:
So tonight it starts, I'll update my sig with the Dior/Quidco challenge totals so you can all shout at me! Normally I'd give myself a target of October to do this but as I'm away for 9 days I'll say within a reasonable length of time! If anyone wants to join me or give me any good tips/advice please please please do!
Love ya all but here comes my picture of homosexual chinese perfection! mwah0 -
Well off to a good start on my quidco challenge, took out a 3 for £1 magazine subscription and have £4.80 tracking so taking off the £1 (only fair) I've got £3.80 which takes me under the £60 mark woohoo.
Am going to do the blind quote thing for £20 and the Lovefilm trial for £14.50 but I'm waiting till I get back from my hols as I don't haev time at the moment, but once those track thats me half way there....easier than I expected!!!
Quick addition, did a couple of other things at lunch, so thats another £10 tracking and a cost of £1 so another £9 for the challenge! woohoo0 -
Hi lynsayjane,
Am loving your thread, have been reading it all afternoon and am currently on page 9!
Its like reading a book almost, am dying to know whats going to happen in your life next, will attempt more pages at work tomorrow.
P.S. Since reading your thread today, I have made a contact lense appointment which I have been putting off doing for weeks and sent a cheque off to my mortgage company which I kept forgetting to do! So you have completely motivated me already this afternoon.

Hi LJ! If the Dior hasn't got you into any debt and if you can afford it, I can't see there is too much of a problem however it is godo that you are doing to QuidCo thing!
Don't forget to do your daily 'searches' for things (anything!) on Kelkoo & The High Street Web as that will rack up a few more pence each day which of course all counts over the weeks and months.
(Kelkoo - they allow one search per day paying you 10p and The High Street Web allow you two at 8p each.)
I hope you have a SUPERB holiday!
Take care - enjoy your time off and OH MY GOD how could I have forgotten....C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S on the promotion already!! :T
Bye for now.
LA xx
