Gads I wish the world would give me a break!

    Update on recent changes!

new job is very very boring. Despite only being there a week I'm managing to finish my work an hour before I'm due to leave and have to faff about! I'm actually close to asking for more work/responsibility to fill up my day. Not a good start! Today I was sat for about half an hour waiting for a bus when there are three I can get supposedly every 15 minutes! When I did get the bus this old drunk got on and kept trying to talk/sing to me, I actually felt sick at the smell of him.

Internet...Emailed sky regarding delivery of my wireless router and connection date etc and got a reply to say there was a problem with my mac code so it hadn't been processed...wonder when they were going to tell me??? Anyway I've emailed the code and explained what I think is the problem, lets see how long it takes to get back to me?

Phone... well it's been three weeks since I tried to transfer my line rental back to bt and I've heard nothing. Been on the phone on and off all night trying to get hold of ANYONE! still waiting on a call back at the mo. Last guy I spoke to could barely find that my number existed! Evidently I was calling from an invisible phone line!

So tonight I had a fish supper for dinner, got pringles on the go and had a glass of wine so on top of the stress I feel fat and guilty with a bikini sat in the box waiting for my holiday.

Oh speaking of which I received a letter today saying that I'mnot getting my solicitors fee's back as per my mortgage conditions cause it's only for mortgages over 50k...London and county never told me that neither did the mortgage company...by the way guys totally disagreein with martin over the london and county thing, had nothing but problems with this mortgage, did better on my own last time.

Hi lyns, had to hav a giggle when i read the weeble thing. gosh i remember them so well!! Fish supper sounds great, made OH stir fry, didn't go down to well me thinks!! he he.
Sorry to hear that the job is a little boring, maybe they are seeing how ell you handle it all prior to putting too much onto you, hope it all works out in the end.
That is shocking about the mortgage, if it was one of the selling points in you choosing the mortgage and it was never pointed out to you that it should be above 50k then i'm sure you'd have good grounds to complain either to london and county or the mortgage consultanta manager. see if it is illusrated on your key facts doc that you were given. if so and it doesn't stipulate amount i'm sure you'd be standing on both legs for a complaint.

    Big hugs.
    xx

    Evening guys!

Two weeks today and I'll be in Crete (not that I'm bragging ;) ) and my bags are packed...They'll be unoacked and have the labels taken off of everything but I was just checking it'd all fit in! Been very dfw about it, think EVERYTHING thats new was bought in the sale. Never been on hols before so didn't really have anything I could take! Weathers a little different in Crete than the north east of Scotland!!!

Called up sky tonight and it's all on the go again, she suggested I call them in a couple of days to check the status of it. She also said 10-14 days for connection and I'm thinking nearer ten please I'd like it sorted before I leave the country! Bt are proving a LOT more trouble! They spend all this money advertising to 'come back to bt' yet when you try they make life so flaming difficult! ARGH I hate bt!

Watched that spendaholics tonight and it was fair scary. This girl with very similar tastes to me got herself in 26k of debt in less than two years! Makes me feel very lucky about how easy I had it. I was never totally stupid with my money and at worst my credit cards were 4kish and I cleared them without too much hassle in less than a year. Maybe life isn't as bad as it could have been.

Hey LJ - just had a catch up and I have to say sorry for being so cr ap over the last few months - I wasn't around clearly when you needed support. Not that I could have waved a magic wand and made it all better, but I wish I had at least offered a few words of comfort.

    So - my apologies darling.

I hope you have a FAB holiday and also, I hope BT get their act together and sort the problems out.

Yeah give me a few weeks and I'll find lots of ways to cure the boredom. We have a msn type thing thats in office so I've been messaging the new friends I've made and meeting them in the kitchen for a chat while we make tea! I can also listen to my ipod while I work so long as I keep it low enough to hear the phone! It'll het better. I've started doing piggy clicks again, been months since I was no there.

Hope you and the little one are doing well, will need to catch up soon xxx

Oh darling please please please don't feel bad about not being around, I've not exactly been a constant presence(sp?) on here! You managed to get engaged without me knowing!!! I know there is no magic wand, it's going to be down to sheer hard work and percistance that makes my life better but I'm getting there. New job, holiday, it's all good, honest.

As for bt I'm going to ask tiscali tonight if I can still keep my phone with them if my internet is not as there is no price difference between bt and them and it's a hell of a lot of hassle that I just don't need!

Have a big huge hug LA, we'll catch up soon xxx
  • Thanks for the hug!

I am glad things are good for you - and long may it continue.
