Seems unlikely that everyone can get a free check done, but may as well give it a go!

If someone could check KS52 ACU, I would appreciate it a lot!

    Many thanks

  • Hello folks, anyone able to do a check for KE54CEA?
Hoping to check MOT history/mileage online using V5 Document Reference number to access that, but seller unable to find V5 today, but knows he has it "somewhere".
Ex Parcelforce van with low miles - unusual, but not unheard of.
If not an hpi check, any way of getting V5 Document Ref ?.
Thanks very much for any help !.

    Hi,

I'm looking to get a hpi check with 7 days free insurance, can anyone recommend a good company please?

Have googled but not sure who to trust :(

    TIA

    sa
  • If you search for "free hpi check" you'll probably land on this forum.

So did I and I eventually decided to get a package of 5 so I could have remaining ones for my disposal...

Here is the deal: Search for "Patryk Wieczorek PL"

Bottom left hand side - PayPal donate button - I manage interwebs side of things so basically I'll get notified each time one...

I think it's fair - using resources we have, adding value, helping each other :)

    Best!

Trust the proper ones and not scammers and spammers like the post above.

    RAC, AA, HPI etc.

Watch out for the free insurance terms, Someone posted saying theirs did not cover commuting to work. The excess maybe very high also.

    LOL :rotfl:

Just to clarify...I do understand I will pay for the HPI check.
However I have heard you can get HPI checks with added 7 days insurance for free and wanted personal recommendations.
But all sorted now thanks to a recommendation from a friend.

    Thankyou :),

I had tried RAC and AA but they did not mention free insurance, but managed to get it through HPI. Its mainly to drive car down from seller and then around to the garage next day for a once over and back home. Thus buying a few more days to shop around for that cheaper quote :)

So I used a reputable company-RAC to do a HPI check for the Mini I just purchased and all ok except when you go to complete the full details for the insurance. You have to provide the V5 issue date that has to be before the HPI check date meaning that you'd have had to purchased the car before making the HPI check!?

If the V5 issue date is before the HPI check date then you don't get the insurance, ie the insurance is a waste of time!

Thought I'd let you guys know!
  • Hello

Does anyone have a spare check that they would be happy to use to check this car please...

    LG09 XVM

Unfortuantley I'm pretty sure that it will come back with a problem - Will be interesting to see as I am so close to buying the car!

    Thanks
