I quite like Nicos, problem with Zayden is that the name Jayden/Jaiden is very popular at the moment and you may be forever correcting people?

Nicos is ok, sounds greek. Sorry but Zayden sounds awful to me and agree with csh, Jayden is too popular at the moment to have something so similar.

If you like the letter Z how about Zaccheus?

Why does the newbie have to have a name that goes with his brother's name? Don't you believe in them being individuals?

neither are to my taste, but then the names I have for babes due soon arent to most other peoples taste either! If you like the names, it doesnt matter what any of us on here think. I think they are nice, just wouldnt be my choice, I hope that doesnt offend. I love Yannis though :T

I have to do this (with 2 out of my 3 names) and it's a right pain. I am also constantly being asked how it's pronnounced too.

I think its better to have names that go with each other rather than having 2 names which sound silly when said together?

Obviously she wants them to be individuals or she'd call them both Yannis

    hi Nar,

Yes I do believe in them being individuals Im not trying to out another little yannis !! Anyway I think some thing really plain wouldn't sound right and he would wonder why I didn't put as much effort into his name as his brothers.

anyway thanks for your answers, to be honest Nicos is the one that stands out so far but my only problem is I don't want it to be shortened to Nic !!

    thanks again x:beer:

I personally don't like any of the names listed, but then you might not like any of the names I gave my son!
I know you might not be religious, but the bible is a good source of unusual names!
    Just a thought :)

If you really mean that, don't consider the name for a moment. I had already thought to myself, 'Nic sounds very English', unlike Yannis.

Sorry, I really don't like the other name. But Nicos is lovely.

Incidentally, Yannis may well get shortened to Yan by his friends at school.

I really don't think you have any control over children's nicknames and what their friends call them though, so it's almost not worth thnking about. Having said that, 'Nic' is a fairly dead cert in my book.
