I like all of your choices OP

There is always a risk of the names being shortened or lengthened you just have to go with something you will be ok hearing! You don't have to use the nickname.

You can be super careful and then they will get called a nickname which has nothing to do with their name by everyone who knows them lol! You just never know how it will play out.
