Hi Angel, it's just gone a year since my mc. I still think about it a lot. But I'm very lucky to have just welcomed a little boy into the world last month. I hope there will be lots of other rainbow babies on this thread soon. Hugs xx

Angel, I had like you a miscarriage in June. Apparantly it takes 4-6 weeks for your natural cycle to come round. The more stressed you get about it, it may be delaying your period.

Im sure it will come soon. Good luck :)

    Hi emmaj30,

Thank you. I have been temperature charting and my temp went down today and I just feel like it is on its way so thank you. At least things can start up again.

    How are you now?

    Hiya
Can I ask .. Has anyone heard that taking progestogen tablets/suppositories when you are pregnant good for not having a miscarriage. Just that Im trying to find out the average progestogen levels at day 21 and If mine are low I was going to suggest it to my gp/specialist if I get pregnant..

Emma I cant help sorry, as my pg was via assisted conception so im not sure if they like the progesterone to be higher? mine was 53 and they needed it to be over 30 if that helps at all?

    How is everyone doing?

Im 4.5 weeks post erpc and still no af,well i say no af i usually bleed all the time when not on fertility treatment and that hasnt returned.I have to say im really regretting going down the surgical route,im now wondering if the surgery has caused more damage beyond what I had already.

    Hi all
Emma - I was told that taking progesterone can help prevent miscarriage and my consultant said that once my next pregnancy was confirmed as being viable (early scan showing heartbeat) they would put me on it. I'm not sure if taking progesterone before pregnant would help, but someone else may know.

PM - I'm sorry you're not feeling right. It's very unlikely that the surgical route will have caused more problems, but I understand your concerns. FWIW I had up to 6 weeks between miscarriage and first period and I know others have had longer. If you still have nothing after 8 weeks I'd get in touch with your dr and ask their advice.

As for me, my latest post-miscarriage tests look like they've found a blood clotting disorder. I'm waiting to see my consultant now, but unfortunately my usual fab one has left, so it'll be a new consultant and I'll be starting again...:(. The good news is that hopefully aspirin and/or heparin should help if I get pregnant again.

    Betty

It must be such a rollercoaster, but im glad atlleat they have found a reson for the mc's.Awful though to go thorough im sure. Ive got everything crossed that you get to try the asprin/heparin route.

Its a difficult one for me as i dont ov naturally so in terms of the medics im just lmp unknown but i know for me i just bleed pretty much constantly naturally and for me not to have by now is very strange.
