    Big hugs xxxx

I did all five of mine at home so no idea what the ERPC is like, but I needed serious pain relief for a couple of weeks each time with mine, so do get enough to cover a decent period of time.

Lara thanks, its awful knowing that even with all the treatment and many many years we still lost the baby :( knowing that if we ever try again its 6.5 weeks injecting atleast to get an egg and even then it may not fertilise.

If only ttc naturally was possible.

ASk them for plenty and if they won;t prescribe it just ask your GP. I found mine has always been very happy to write a prescription without needing to see me. Just explain what's happened and ask for them to call you.

Part Mouse, although I have never had a ERPC, I have felt quite ill and in pain (and bleeding) for 2-3 weeks through all my miscarriages, so I think what you're experiencing is normal, but if you're worried contact the EPU or your GP.

  • In what way are you not feeling well, Part Mouse? Temperature, dizzy? Or pain/tiredness?? If you're in any doubt whatsoever contact your midwife, EPU or GP, they'd rather check you over than risk you having an infection. Be kind to yourself, PM.

I'm on doxycycline and a v high dose of metrodizonal sp which I'm sure is making me feel very ill :( panicky, sick flu feelings awful just awful and have spent days in tramadol.as I've only got one open tube now I can't risk getting an infection.it doesn't help I've been to the hosp 4 times this week either,so worn out with it all now.despite having erpc I've passed some very large 'things'

I cancelled the mw appt I pleaded with them to bring forward when things started going wrong but they only bought the appt forward a week, and the next day she called for the appt the following day :( she couldn't get off the phone quick enough.loooking forward to finishing these anti biotics.

I'm so sorry PM. Under the circumstances I would either make an emergency appointment with gp (or out of hours if gp isn't open on Saturday) or go to a&e - I would lay it on thick about you having just had an op, are feeling dreadful and worried you have an infection and refuse to go until they investigate/give you antibiotics etc.

They shouldn't be leaving you to get on with it. Can your OH go with you for back up? (If you lived near me I'd go and insist on treatment on your behalf).
