    Update..
Yesterday was a long day, got to hospital for ten and didn't leave till after 8

They didn't want me to go as in pain and heavy bleeding but don't appear to have passed anything .. Got scan on Wednesday . Had to have a pessary Last night and got anti biotics to take 2 times a day for next 7 days .

Bleeding heavy but no pain today .

The Nurses were so lovely , going to get a little something for them for when I go Wednesday .

Got a sick note for a week and forms for me and hubby to have bloods sent to oxford for chromosomal tests.

    Got to think positive..

Not good I can't seem to book a docs appt online before 1st May! So will have to call them on Tuesday .

Hope you are feeling a little better Miss I? Xx

  • ttc39 - apologies missed your original post on the other thread.

So sorry to hear this happened again. I'm so glad you are getting good compassionate care at least. I am hoping for your physical and emotional recovery to go as well as it can. Also hope your DH is ok too of course and any other family and friends.

I'm doing alright... As well as can be expected, I suspect - my parents say I'm doing amazingly well although I don't feel like I am. I'm just taking each hour as it comes. My parents have headed back to their home 250 miles away today, as we all agreed it was time for Hubby and I to start getting used to being "just us" once more. Hubby and I are taking it easy, doing jobs around the house and keeping busy - but taking time to weep if we need to, like this morning when a beautiful bouquet of flowers arrived from my best friend (also 250 miles away).

We've got the Bereavement Midwife calling round on Tuesday to finalise funeral arrangements and to see how we are doing. I think that will be a hard appointment.

How are you doing ttc39? Am glad to hear you're in no pain and that the docs/nurses are looking after you. I'd definitely ring the doctors direct and emphasise getting an appointment before the 1st May.

I'm really sorry to both of you too.

I suffered an early miscarriage (Aug 2013) and the loss of my beautiful little girl at 19+6 (Jan 2014). I was numb and shocked at first, then every day I had different emotions: angry, sad, disbelief...

There was a book that helped me after my recent miscarriage called 'WHEN A BABY DIES' its especially for late miscarriage/stillbirth/neonatal death.

I know it feels like nothing else in the world matters and you just need your baby back, either inside you or in your arms.
