Hi ladies
Just coming in here from the less than 12 weeks pregnant thread on their advice....
Had our 12 week scan yesterday to find there was no heart beat with our little one.
Development stop around 9 weeks 2 days
Have opted for the tablets option and going in tomorrow morning to have that done. Have been reading a few decent posts with what to expect. Just really want things over with now......I just hope I don't bleed excessively. Pain I can cope with more, it's just the blood that's worrying me
My loss was at 9+5 so very similar. No heartbeat at 12 week scan. I was told it was most probably chromosomal not sure if that made me feel better or worse.
I know someone that had the tablet method and it really wasn't too bad just like a period. Try not to worry dose yourself up on pain killers and hopefully you won't suffer too much. Miscarriage is enough in itself.
Hugs to you xx

I should be number 3 on the pg list now (EDD 25.12.13). Although with two of them they'd probably already be here by now.
Can't stop thinking about it all
Hugs tea. It's hard when the due date looms whenever it is, but it must be worse when it was Christmas Day. I feel the same as you, with it being twins you expect them to have been early so it's a sort of prolonged agony XxI will say though it was a relief once it was over. I think the build up was worse than the day itself xx
Totally agree. The day itself was sad but the build up is worse. Also feels like no one else is bothered, like I'm the only person that even remembers they existed.
I think it's all too easy for others to move on when it doesn't happen directly to them. Perhaps they do remember but no one knows how to bring it up. Have you tried talking to them about how you feel? XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I'm sorry for your loss. It's a cruel blow.
I think it's best to try to prepare yourself for a lot of blood and then it will be a nice relief if that's not the case (fingers crossed it won't be). Take lots of changes of clothing just incase. You don't want to make yourself feel worse if it would bother you to have blood on your clothes.
I hope it all goes as well as it can for you XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Welcome - so sorry you find yourself here. I hope the hospital appointment goes smoothly, no real advice but I found it was just something to be endured while your body returns to "normal" (ie pre-pregnancy).0 -
Sorry you're feeling down tea. There's nothing I can say except I'm joining you - I sometimes find myself looking at people and thinking "have you ANY IDEA what I've been through?" I had a call yesterday to say that our headstone now has the boys names on so went to see it - it all felt so final and of course brought everything back.0

Lj at least you will be in the hospital so you are in the right place and will be taken care of.
My friend miscarried at home & it wasn't very nice for her so I'm glad you will be somewhere you can access painkillers etc if you need them. They will keep a close on on you.
This is the awful thing about miscarriage. You need to grieve but then you have these horrible fears to deal with too. Do you have a GA and an op, do you take tablets, do you wait it out, how much will you bleed, what's the pain like etc. It really is just not nice.
Sweaty Betty I'm not surprised you want to say that to people x0 -
PLMBL - How are you getting on? xx
Thanks for asking Sam. Physically I'm doing better. Iron levels have returned to normal and AF has finally gone (hopefully). Waited 12 weeks for 'her' and then she stayed for a month. Stopped bleeding on Monday so hopefully that's it and then I'm back on a proper cycle. How are you?
betty massive hugs for you. It must have been hard to see the headstone. Not surprised you want to shout at folk! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I am really good PLMBL - we are both doing well. I know this sounds silly being pregnant now but I am dreading February when angel baby would have been due. I am not sure how I will feel. I feel it will be wrong to be upset but also that I am only human. It still feels like yesterday.
I am glad you are doing well now, are you trying again? xx3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:
