It is such a nice idea to do something to remember our seedlings. OH and I already had a name for our baby. I thought I might put a dedication on my PhD (if I actually manage to finish it!).

I've been back doing some work this week, going to the library is good - getting out of the house a bit. I still have really mega mood swings with times of real sadness and anger. I have stopped thinking about going back to normal and just forward to wellness. I have been getting some reflexology every week for the last three weeks. It is relaxing but I am not sure much else. But I guess that is enough atm!!!

We had a boy and a girl name sorted too... Now think if we are e re lucky enough to have a baby born would it be disloyal to still use those planned names?

Reflexology sounds good - any pampering has to be good for us really.

The mood swings sound completely normal Hun, I'm still sad/ angry/depressed /bitter? Xx

feel awful

obviously internal scan showed no HB (as per last two weeks). bf was so upset.

I was just numb I think. she really really hurt me with the scan - trying to find my right ovary that had "disappeared". she wanted to check it because I have PCOS ...

I opted for D&C. They told me they could fit me in that afternoon. I said no .. I have a wedding tomorrow and one on Sunday (i'm an event manager).

So I am having it on Wednesday instead.

Does it matter that bf can't be with me the day after? I know on notes, you're suppose to have someone with you for 24hr after general anaesphetic.

He's gone out now - to see a friend. I'm kind of glad in a way - be good for him to get it off his chest. But I feel so alone now

Oh Rosie, we cross posted, I'm so sorry.

Again poor you with bf's reaction. You are so brave to put work ahead of the op too. In terms of D&C/ERPC, I was ill the next day because of infection, but as I understand it most people feel well the next day. You just have to be careful when driving etc because of the anaesthetic.

Oh Rosie :-( I am sorry you have had what you already suspected confirmed at the scan - it makes it so final now, at least it did for me - that it was game over for me and my little one :-(

I can understand you feel you need to work But Do u really Hun? Are you not able to confide in boss/ colleague - as are you really going to be able to block the emotions out for working the next two days?

What would your work do If you were struck down with illness Hun? Surely they could/ would cope?

Just worried you are trying to carry on as normal when it is a great shock and you should be your no 1 priority right now - not your job.

Of course if this is the best way for you to cope Hun - just being concerned for you x

I don't think it would be disloyal TTC39. We just had a little nickname that we used, separate from our chosen baby names. It was a boy name that made my OH laugh, but sort of stuck and became lovely.

The plant you posted looks really lovely. I hope you go for that one PLMBL.

Rosie huge huge hugs for today. Will you be alright to work? I hope so, wedding management sounds quite stressful. Don't feel bad about taking time if you need it. Is it possible for your BF to get the day off to spend with you? I had a natural mc, so I am not too sure about the medical procedures aspect.

Don't feel lonely, we are here with you. Dodgy :grouphug: My OH is off out tonight too, good for them to have time with guy friends.

Re being alone next day I would say just make sure your mobile charged and oh or mate knows to be ready for call if you ring them if you were to feel unwell xx

Unfortunately my assistant AND my manager are away on holiday. No one else available to cover. I'll take a few days off next week (Wed - Fri) plus the weekend so should be ok for following week.

Weddings shouldn't be too hard - I've been working 16hr days this week to make sure everything is in hand so tomorrow & Sunday should just be a case of big fake smile, and lots of pointing.

Reading this is really good. You've given me a lovely idea for planting a rose bush

Not good you will have to work. Do you need to be there for long hours this weekend too? Can your oh or a mate be there with you?

You just see how you are next week Hun, it may take you longer than you think to be ok once you are able to stop and reflect on what has happened Hun :-( it is a huge thing and I don't think any of us can think we will just need a few days Hun xxx

Rose bush sounds good to plant, I am not at all green fingered but may give it a go xx
