Me too and dunno why but having a really bad evening today xx

Sorry to hear that - I think weekends can be a bit tough whenever you're feeling low, and bank holiday weekends even more so. Probably because you have time to think...you have had a very hard time, hope you're looking after yourself and beginning to heal.

Totally agree with this. Bank holidays seem to be so geared towards families and young children. Part of me wants to go out to take my mind off things, part of me cannot cope with seeing another buggy.

Hugs to you all, take care xx.

Hi all, hope everyone is OK.

Just came back to say a big thank you for all you're lovely words xx.

As well as trying to come to terms with what happened, I was nursing a close friend these last few weeks who very sadly passed away from cancer. It took mind off what happened a little bit, but there has been lots of tears.

Take care everyone and hope you're all doing ok.

JT - so sorry to hear about your friend, what a tough time you've been through lately xx.

Feeling quite down again today. Pretty sure af is on the way (due sat but was spotting a bit yesterday). Had convinced myself we'd be one of those miracle cases (had ivf, had miscarriage, had natural pg straight after) but doesn't look like that's going to be happening.

I feel a bit of a panic about af starting, like it's just a horrible reminder of what happened. I know this sounds pretty grim (sorry) but I could just really do without blood tbh. I've got a horrible feeling I'm going to freak out when af does start properly.

tea lover, when I lost the boys and had the lochlea (sp?) I couldn't deal with it at all and just broke down. OH was absolutely lovely and sorted me out each time. Even (TMI) taking clots out when they appeared.

I completely relate to the meltdown.

Hello everyone, I've been told this is a great source of help and information from people at the the "Less than 12 weeks pregnant" thread.

My wife had some fresh blood when wiping on Sunday (she was 8 weeks & 4 days). We went to A&E and were told it was fine and can happen, got booked in for an early scan which we had yesterday and unfortunately were told that although the sac was in the womb correctly the foetus was only 6mm and should be more like 22mm.

We have another scan in 10 days.

    Hi,

I hope you guys can at least listen, if not able to give any advice, because this is a strange one.

I had two miscarriages one in December 2011 and the next in January 2012. They were very early and I was dealing with a Thyroid in-balance, that I was unaware of at the same time. I didn't have a problem dealing with them, as they're not the first I've had and I do have a DD from 1 successful pregnancy. But this is where the problem lies.

My DD has recently started talking about an imaginary baby sister, who is or would be the same age had my January 2012 pregnancy gone to term. I feel really silly but I'm really struggling with this as DD is asking all the time 'Where is my baby sister?' 'What is my baby sister doing now?' 'Have you lifted my baby sister out of the bath?' She's even given her a name. My DD is only just 4 and doesn't know about the miscarriages.

Is it silly to be finding this really hard? I spoke to my DH about it last night, and he said it was understandable. Just need to put this out there, so I can work it through in my head. Thanks for listening.

Did they see a heartbeat? Could it be that your dates are off? I'm so sorry that you are both going through this.

No heartbeat I'm afraid but they don't expect one in a foetus that's so small. My wife is a sister and is confident with her dates.

Her Hcg levels were low to start with, I don't know if that has any bearing on things?
