GRRR!

Hgc is up 6 from Wed (still didn't get the number it is, will ask later)
They still say pregnancy of unknown location, still want me in for injection.
I have refused as i believe i mc today.
Rang me back, consultant insistant I have injection, i am putting myself at risk etc. again i have refused until Monday. Where i will scan and hcg again.

Anyone know why my HGC has gone up since Wed, when the heavier bleed started Wed & continued today?
Could the 6 just be from when blood was taken Wed am, to mc starting after examination Wed pm?
I just dont know what to think!

How frustrating for you that's the thing about blood tests, they are a snapshot of time. So only relevant to the exact time they were taken. So you had it in the morning then bled heavily afternoon. I'd guess now you have been bleeding heavily your hcg will be significantly reduced at your next blood test. I'd understand if you were not bleeding them being so insistant about the injection but the fact you have been bleeding heavily for two days I'd feel the same as you. They seem to be missing the point, the injection is a major thing to have and not something you'd want to take obviously if you can avoid it. Well done for standing up to them xx

Its driving me nuts! So Wed am i might have had a healthy pregnancy, which could have stayed put it not for all this messing about! Trying to relax now & move on. And expect Mon to have dropped significantly.

P...d off that they are still saying ectopic, when sonographer clearly saw tubes, ovary, and was happy! The Dr's just dont listen/talk to other medical staff!

I just reread your post. I can see what you mean now bit is possibly it went up more before the bleed wed pm and is actually falling. Can they do do anther blood test or scan before Monday? Even if they took it tomorrow it would be an indication which it was going. Obviously there is a possibility it's ectopic, I know the bleeding is promising but there's still a risk

MSM, so sorry you are going through this. I don't know what to suggest but would want to have another scan although scary at the thought of putting yourself at risk.

My levels were
Mon 185
Wed 221
Fri 227

Only having bloods & scan Mon. Still not agreeing to injection!

In my mind i was pregnant, but the baby was poorly, so not growing properly, thats why levels have gone up, but not alot.
This to me is confirmed by 'clot' seen Mon, which then was a bigger mass today, then I've passed something today.
I think HCg levels stopped raising some point on Wed, and have been coming down, but got higher than 227 between test, then has come down for Todays test.

Funny thing they asked me what i do for a living, because I knew so much about pregnancy & miscarriages!! (Just not ovulating like GG!)

Should have said medical lawyer, so sort me out good or bish bosh Dr got law suit! Ha!

I dont want to laugh because youre in a bad situation but that does make me laugh that they asked you that!! I wonder if some of us scare them by knowing more than them about ttc issues!

It seems to make sense about what youre saying that the levels could have got higher and then come down again.

I hope you get a final answer on Monday.

I think they are impressed when you have a clue and know about these things as sadly most people in this day and age aren't that smart and/ or don't research. Sadly for me the longer time that passes the more I learn. I have spent a rediculous amount of time these past few weeks reading not only forums also medical articles. I basically dissected my hole scan report from the other day. I was very sneaky and took a picture of it so I researched everything it said. To me knowledge is power so the more I know the more in control I feel. Does that make sense? ( control freak much?)

What you've said makes perfect sense to me Msm. Please if you get any severe pain though please go to a&e. become quite fond of you so don't want anything to happen to you

Don't worry claire, laughing is with good intention!
I think i did scare them, especially as i shown no emotion this time. (I've only cried in bed when going to sleep, as there is no avoiding it!)

I will continue updating, and might join the TTC thread as I've ordered ovulation sticks for the first time!

Felt bad last time i was on there as I always fall pg first cycle, and others are there so long! but they dont like to stay :-( so i need to use every opportunity!
If i can successfully conceive this month, at lease if I mc again, i can try again quicker! Miss a cycle and the months just keep adding up!!!
