  • Hugs claire... thinking of you x
  • Thanks Claire. Think I will give it until this time next week and see how things are then, as there isn't much hope of an appointment before then anyway and I don't want to waste anyone's time unnecessarily. I'm just fed up of 3 months of bleeding and feel I can't really move on. Having to count the weeks means I'm constantly thinking of how many weeks pregnant I should be etc. you are right about the iron thing being a worry too Xx

Would you get checked out or wait a bit longer?
Yes, I would probably get checked out.

ETA: Well truthfully I would probably think I should but would actually wait ages before doing so and worry lots in the meantime.

Sound exactly like what I'm currently doing!

Thank you for making me feel normal though Xx

Baby bump almost gone now which is good. Was getting really tired of seeing that.

Had a tiny amount of bleeding this morning but yesterday had normal CM back so hopefully its just a blip.

Dr signed me off for all of next week, I wasnt due back til Weds anyway but cant face it yet, I was crying down the phone to him. Managed a small trip into town yesterday just to the bank and post office, wouldnt let DH leave me for 2 seconds as was scared of bursting into tears but managed not to. I was also worried about bumping into someone we knew, who knew what had happened as that would have started the tears so luckily that didnt happen!

Got a friend coming round today, and Ive given in my notice at work so I can start afresh in something new which makes me feel really positive. Just waiting til theyre back in next week, see my email and what their response is to my asking to shorten my long notice period...

Things are sounding more positive for you now Claire - I'm pleased. Hope you get the response you want from work, but don't rush into doing things yet; you are still recovering. Have a lovely time with your friend today and remember that tears will still surprise you at odd moments. It is natural and it will lessen as time goes by. Hope your DH is doing ok too.

    Happy new year!

Thank you. Happy New Year to you too!

My friend was great for cheering me up, actually had a proper laugh and only a short cry :)

DH keeps getting asked at work if hes ok, as I think normally he's quite loud, and well he hasnt been these past 2 weeks. Some people he's told, depending on who they are, others just said he was tired or some other excuse.

I think this definitely hit him more than he expected it would - like if you had asked him 6 months ago I think he would have shrugged it off and said it wouldnt affect him loosing a baby that early. But now its happened, it really has affected both of us. He was showing me all these pictures hed drawn of wooden stuff he wanted to make for the baby. Made me cry but at the same time made me know what a great Dad he will make one day.

This is so sweet - you're right, he will make a great Dad and you'll make a great Mum too. Keep talking and make sure you look after each other.

I feel like Im in a weird phase now. One minute Im fine really looking forward to finding a new job and ttc again, feel really positive.

And then it hits me out of nowhere what happened and I should be about 14 weeks now and I just feel so depressed. And knowing that tomorrow night will be spent most likely crying on the couch.

I keep saying to DH I am SO SICK of feeling so fed up. Im normally such a happy laid back person. I hate this feeling.
