  • Hi Tinks...yes will speak to them about it next Weds.

The woman there though who did my scans has the worst bedside manner I have ever seen, particularly given she is around 32 weeks pregnant herself! Not sympathetic or particularly kind when she was telling me I had miscarried. She kept pointing to the screen saying 'as you can see apart from a bit of leftover foetal matter, the pregnancy has clearly ended'!!!

No 'I'm sorry' or anything kindly. Just hardfaced fact.

I just didnt want to see an empty sac so turned my head away. Both my OH and mum watched and I could see tears in OH's eyes :(

Oh well...she's alright jack..got her baby due to be born soon, why should she care? I'm just another person through the door with a sad end to their pregnancy...

    Sorry..rant over.

I am clearly going through the pi%%ed off stage

MV, that is awful treatment. It never fails to amaze me how tactless some hospital staff can be.

We have had some "fun" since the bleeding first stopped, but then i started bleeding a couple of days later and it worried OH. I have not tested since the ERPC, but am wondering whether i should, i was just going to wait until AF showed up.

MV that is awful! some people are just not cut out for "caring" jobs!!!

I am hoping to get some "fun" in this weekend as i think we both want it, and possibly need it. We are not going bd for quite a while but will just see what happens.

Take care all of you with remaining positives, i hope the EPU can shed some light for you tinks.

    Hugss to you all

Got married on the 26th April 08!!!!!!!:j:T

Bumpy Bean was due 20th Nov 2010, born 15th Nov :j:j:T
  • Thanks. The first time I went in there she was sat behind the reception desk moaning loudly about how she hadn't had her lunch yet and shouldn't even be at EPU that day. I stood and was ignored at the desk for about 5 minutes whilst she made a big deal of doing nothing much..I swear she resented the women who were in that day for making her have to do something! She mentioned to her colleague too that she was 32 weeks preg and was gearing up for mat leave..lucky thing!

I'll probably have her again on Weds :(..so sad that this time I'll be looking to see that it's all gone rather than praying it's still there...feeling really upset again :(

  • ((((hugs)))) MV, I so know how you feel :( xxx

I'm having a low day too, felt like I'd turned a corner yesterday but back to feeling poo again today. :(
  • Ali (((hugs)))..It's like you feel like you're starting to get better and move on, and then it hits you again like a ton of bricks.

I feel like I should be getting out of the house and doing something, but even the thought of walking down to the local shop for a pint of milk seems too much effort and I can't be bothered :(

Do you feel tired all the time too?

  • I do feel tired, no energy at all. I never want to get out of bed and would happily stay there all day! Getting up at 6am next Tues for work is gonna be a shock to my system!
  • I know what you mean. I'm back to work on Monday too. It's going to be very hard.
