Options belgian chocolate hot choc solves that for me, its yummyI think it's the best instant hot chocolate even not taking into account the low calorie/sugar - it's the only one i don't use twice as much/add sugar to. Only problem is i got it on offer a while ago and it's nearly ran out and i think it's normally about £2.50.
Glad i'm not having any central heating nightmares! Infact i just had good news that the gas company owe us money which i wasnt expecting because we had the flat warm all the time during the snow. Our direct debit has been about £15 a month more than our usage.0 -
Im in LRI camp with cake a little of what you fancy does you good they say
How about a banana cake i only add a tablespoon of fruitsana in mine (= around 3 tbs of sugar) and use a couple of tablespoons of veg oil instead of butter to bind. its basic kids fare, but it keeps my diet on track as its sweet but very filling.
Id better go get the kettle on again, i swear these guys drink more then old dears at a WI meeting0 -

I think i will in the end. Possibly chocolate cobbler/mud pie because it's easy and tasty (especially with rum & baileys in the sauce)0 -
I'm attempting a flourless orange cake this week and using sweetener instead of sugar - it may turn out well, it may not! I've got a couple of very handy baking cookbooks that give calorie information per recipe so give me a shout if you want some ideas from there
My food for today is porridge for breakfast, a WW chicken casserole for lunch (I'm not doing WW but I just fancied something hot for lunch today as it's so cold) and then I have no idea about dinner. I've got to go shopping after work so perhaps inspiration will strike while I'm at the supermarket.0 -
A flourless cake sounds interesting. Is it still like a cake? Let me know how it turns out.0

Yup, you just use ground almonds instead of flour. That's worked perfectly well for me in crumbles so fingers crossed it turns out ok in cake form0

I make a few cakes with almonds in them, and love orange and almond cake....if it goes well will you share the recipe? I'm scared of baking with sweetener:o0 -
Oh dear,
Fed up coz have a miserable cold and gave in to oven chips. However, treating this as a blip rather than an excuse to binge -and gonna have a little walk in the hope a few chip calories won't stick.
Brekkie today (as always) was fat free yoghurt, loads of berries and a little granola on the top.
Dinner will be quorn sausages, baked beans & probably runner beans.

Hi everyone. Well done on the weight loss so far!
My month start weight was 9 stone 8 pounds. First weigh in of the month today and I've lost 1 3/4 pounds. I think my scales might have been playing up last week as lost hardly any then and all of a sudden...big loss! hmmmmmm.0 -
Hi all, I know its not the 1st but can I join in? I started my healthy eating plan on 5th Jan and I was 13 stone 12. Weighed in on saturday and I was 12 stone 12, so really chuffed with myself, and everyone has noticed the difference. I have been ill with the norovirus since sunday so havent eaten since then, got on the scales earlier and I am now 12 stone 7 however, once i can face food I know this will increase a bit.
So I would like to put myself down for 7lbs this month, once I am better I am going to start some kind of fitness plan as well.0
