In terms of calories, the best one would be a chicken tandoori which doesn't have any sauce, with plain rice.

Didn't realise you were a Darlo MSE'er - I spent the first 13 years of my life there and loved it :D

Nah - don't do "bling"!! tasteful 22 ct gold earrings and a pentacle (oh and wedding, engagement and a n other gold ring and a titanium watch which was my wedding pressie from Dr Dragon - I got him a Leatherman - titanium Wave!)

Glad to know that the scales were probably being funky ( oh and I've seen some pretty heavy pentacles in my time although mine is very small and discreet ;))

I seem to have lost nearly 2lbs since Monday! Foodwise today was pretty much the same as yesterday other than it ws fish and boiled potatoes and cabbage for tea

Tomorrow won't be so good though. A colleague is having a pretty hard time at the moment so I plan to drag her out for lunch.

I've been thinking about the Ready Brek for lunch - I wonder if mixing it with powdered milk at home and then just adding boling water might work?

    Hello Peeps!
The OH got a job - he starts on Monday!!!!!! :D:D:D
I haven't stopped grinning. . . honestly. But seriously - I was a bit of a piggy today (and am typing this with a glass of rose in front of me ) BUT according to the calorie counting website I have had 1351 calories today, including the wine. So still under the 1700 recommended by the site!
But I'm so happy - I'll be back tomorrow being my usual self!

  • well, you have lost an awful lot, perhaps your body needs a break? FWIW, consomme or marigold stock in a cup workswell for me as a cold feeding thing, and chicken soup full of veg is both comforting and studies suggest proper chicken soup really does help ;) FAiling that, milk chocolate is the worlds best throat soother.

You may be right, cos my head is in the zone, but I've had a cold for three weeks now (and so has the rest of the family) and I just want comfort food! And to be honest I've just can't be bothered to cook healthily at the moment. I'm good during the day, but want crisps/chocolate in the evening :(

My lunch barely touched the sides and it's a long long time till dinnertime :( Oh well, I will be strong and not buy crap in the supermarket. And if I can be quick and organised this evening (ha! so much to do!) then I'll fit in a swim at 9-10pm as well.

lir - if men are noticing then that's a very good thing ( I don't think any of my male colleagues have even noticed that I've lost any weight but the girls are much more observant) And bless him, that's a very thoughtful thing to do. Are you off on your trip soon?

posh - did the package finally get to you?

Yes it did -many, many thanks. I sent you PM on the 28th - did you not get it?
